So why do we continue to buy into the illusion of liberal democracy in a formerly colonised countries which are yet to arrive at genuine power-sharing between among others gender, ethnicity and 'educated elite vs rural masses?
Any election under a dictatorship cannot serve the interest of the people. It serves the despots and their allies around the world who keep hoping we pay the price silently as long as they stamp their despots duly elected! It's a zero-sum game! We are tayaad!
