"As of Wednesday morning (Oct. 28), a total of 12 people within the Wisconsin football program had tested positive for COVID-19 in the past five days. That figure includes six student-athletes and six staff members, including head coach Paul Chryst."
Paul Chryst's PCR test came back positive on Tuesday. He informed the team and staff earlier today. Chryst will be out 10 days. Second Big Ten head coach to test positive (Jeff Brohm).

#B1G presidents and chancellors voted 11-3 to postpone the fall season, the league confirms in a brief responding to #Nebraska players' lawsuit. Brief also outlines that decision based on multiple medical factors applying to all 14 schools. Two groups of experts advised league.
League sources tell ESPN that #Nebraska, #OhioState and #Iowa are the three schools that voted against postponing the fall season. This will surprise absolutely no one who has followed the story.
The #B1G's brief filed today targets "three incorrect and unsupportable assertions" in the players' lawsuit, mostly around the vote (it happened) and threshold for approval (60% according to bylaws, league got 78.6%). Also pushes back on claim that one study fueled postponement.

From OSU findings: Urban Meyer said he met with both Zach and Courtney Smith after 2009 incident to say arrest based on incorrect info. Courtney Smith denies meeting w/ Urban, never recanted claims. Urban/Shelley thought Courtney "not being entirely truthful when she called 911."
OSU findings: In May 2014, Zach Smith ran up significant bill at Florida strip club along with another Ohio State coach and one or more high school coaches. Meyer knew of incident but not amount racked up, told Smith if it happened again he would be fired.
OSU findings: The 2015 Powell police investigation into Zach Smith first was reported to Ohio State's deputy Title IX coordinator, then Gene Smith, then Urban Meyer. Meyer told Zach Smith "if you hit her, you're fired." Gene Smith told Zach if charges are filed, you're fired.
