Hahaha. And DC was certain that (or acted as if) Anonymous was a senior admin official like an Ambassador or cabinet secretary. They asked for comment from all cabinet members!
I doubt highly that the New York Times would have given to a chief of staff of one of the many departments within the US government the elevation and attention it has given to Anonymous. This was full on fake news hoax. People thought it’s a cabinet member or close Trump advisor.
🚨 @MilesTaylorUSA was not Chief of Staff of Homeland when the op-ed ran in Sep 2018 as first noted by @jonathanvswan. Even if he were COS, it’s not a “senior admin official” which people/media took to be a cabinet mnember or WH advisor.
The Anonymous op ed was relevant only because it was Anonymous with the suggestion that it’s a cabinet member or POTUS advisor. This isn’t a side show. This is the story; this is the hoax that the NYT pulped on the public.
Had he written his name it would have been irrelevant.
Note the dates.
NOTE THE DATES.
NOTE THE DATES!
No. “Former Homeland Security Chief of Staff @MilesTaylorUSA” did NOT write the op-ed. This falsely suggests that he was COS at the time. He was not.
You may as well write “former diaper pooper wrote the anonymous op-ed.”
The mere fact that the NYT permitted someone to run an op-ed without a name was used as proof that this must be some very high ranking official. See @CillizzaCNN at the time.
Imagine a governor Trump zoning in Jews the way @NYGovCuomo did (while a dozen counties have worse infection rates than these zones). Think of the war if Trump said about Jews one time what Cuomo said for weeks.
Total silence from our Dem “friends” here in NY is sickening.
Many Dem-leaning Jewish pundits and activists are either silent or excuse this away.
Come on, hacks. You don’t give Trump a pass on verbal offenses that is maybe 5% the level of what Cuomo said about Orthodox Jews and what he did too with targeted enforcement
Partei Uber Alles?
Those same Dem-leaning Jewish mouth pieces love to lecture Trump supporters for being his “blind-followers” or for idolizing him. Really now? Those hacks give Cuomo a pass on things that Trump never came close to doing or saying because those hacks idolize the Dem party.
Get THIS! Leading New York Dems wanted SCOTUS to throw out a Trump immigration order based on his comments about immigrants. But in court last week, the State’s attorney told the court to ignore @NYGovCuomo’s comments targeting Jews on COVID-19. This info is from an exclusive
interview that @Ami_Magazine has this week with attorney Avi Schick who sued NYS on behalf of @AgudahNews. “We put before the court the various statements that were made targeting the frum (Orthodox) community. The judge then questioned the state’s lawyer about those statements.
He responded with a legalism, which was to say that the court should ignore the governor’s statements and look only at the words in the executive order itself. The state pointed to a fairly recent Supreme Court case called Trump v. Hawaii, in which the Supreme Court said it
Some slob photog who failed in his life landed up having a job to take photos of Orthodox Jews 10:30 PM to see if they follow rules. He won’t chase BLM or white hipsters. He is picking on Hasidim because they are now a target by @NYGovCuomo. The slob was rushed from the scene!
Chants of “knock him out! Knock him out!”
I don’t condone it but media can’t spend a month degrading Orthodox Jews by repeating incomplete data from @NYCMayor and @NYGovCuomo and push cameras into faces of people hoping to find wrongs, and then expect that locals will be happy.
Did @MikeBloomberg pay the fines from a FEC registered committee? I mean, Trump did not pay SD from an FEC account and that was a “violation” because if not for the election, they said, Trump would not have spent the money. Ok, what about Bloomberg?
My understanding is that @MikeBloomberg paid the bills of felons who are African American or Latino and thus more likely to vote Democrat. This is a full scale political, not justice, operation per how Trump was handled regarding payments to SD.
Had Trump paid SD from his candidate committee, it would have been packaged as an FEC violation since Trump made such payments in the past and/or such payments are dual benefit; personal and for the campaign like a teeth whitening. Candidates don’t pay it from their FEC account.
1/ If you are a “conservative” that follows politics since at least 1986, I would like to slap around you and/or the clowns in your midst.
In 1986, people around Reagan who buy whatever Dem Narrative that the NYT/WashPost sells, told Reagan that he needs to sign off on a
2/ massive immigration amnesty that has made its way through the House and Senate with strong majorities or else he will loss the mid-terms. Reagan, like Republican politicians before and after him, went for it. He didn’t sign it before the election but his signature was a given.
3/ In the Nov 4th, 1986 mid term elections, Republicans lost 8 seats in the Senate in part due to angry conservatives not voting. The GOP majority dropped from 53 to 45 while Dems rose from 47 to 55. Part of the loss was built-in from 1980 when Republicans won 12 Senate seats
