♦ A cyclonic circulation lies over Eastcentral Bay of Bengal & adjoining North Andaman Sea between 1.5 & 4.5 km above mean sea level. Under its influence, a Low Pressure Area is likely to form over Eastcentral Bay of Bengal by tomorrow,
the 31st October, 2020. It is likely to move towards Bangladesh coast during subsequent 48 hours.
♦ Under the influence of the above system, isolated heavy rainfall with moderate thunderstorm & lightning is likely over south Assam & Meghalaya and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram &
Tripura during 31st October-01st November, 2020.
♦ A cyclonic circulation lies over Tamil Nadu coast & adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal in lower & mid tropospheric levels.
♦ In view of significant reduction in rainfall activity over most parts of the country the Southwest monsoon has withdrawn from the entire country today the 28th October 2020.
♦ Simultaneously with the setting in of northeasterly winds in the lower tropospheric levels, the northeast monsoon rains has commenced over extreme south peninsular India today the 28th October 2020.
