Some states allow for ballots to be counted if they are postmarked before election day.
But just get it in now.
Personally, I'm a fan of absentee ballots. I like filling out my ballot at home, at my leisure, where I can do my research and check for errors.
Cancelling your absentee ballot and voting at the polling place can clog up the line.
Turn. It. In. As. Soon. As Possible.
Even in states that allow ballots to be counted as long as the postmark is on or before Election Day, I prefer my ballot to be counted as early as possible.
Moreover, we never know where Republicans might pull this crap.

When the wannabe strongmen act like they can steal the election, and everyone panics, this amplifies the con and gives it credence. justsecurity.org/72609/dont-bel…
Even with people amplifying the lie, we've seen that it doesn't work.
Look at Wisconsin in April.

In April, the GOP did everything they could to steal that election.
Turns out, people don't like it when they know someone in power is trying to silence their vote.
Wisconsin voters overcame all the obstacles and the Democrats won.
Even Kavanaugh said rules can't be changed too close to an election.
I guess a stupid judge could say, "All those people have to come back and walk their ballots into a polling place instead of driving by," and make all 100K come back and walk-in instead of drive through.
The county officials invited people to drop off their ballots. They did.
Now some people want to challenge whether those ballots should count.
If ballots are late because of deliberate sabotage, those obviously must be counted.

Democrats as a rule have voted earlier than Republicans. So batches of late-arriving ballots are likely to have more or equal numbers of Republican ballots.
Did I mention that nobody should put a ballot in the mail at this point, even if your state has a long deadline?

We need to have another talk about the strongman con.
Why do you all give Trump so much power over you? He tells you to panic and you do. When you panic, you help him appear mighty. He isn’t. The voters are.
