First, who initially alleged that the materials possessed by @nypost resulted from the “hacking” of a laptop? In Twitter’s truth parade, shouldn’t those people be sanctioned for “disinformation”?
Next, many on the political left have openly suggested that the Hunter Biden laptop issue is/was a DIRECT result of a Russian disinformation effort. That’s false. When will Twitter be sanctioning @ChrisMurphyCT?
When will @JoeBiden’s twitter account be suspended for engaging in disinformation? When will he be taken to task for misleading the American people?
Bottom line? This platform is compromised. Truth is irrelevant to social justice activists. Expecting that they will engage in fairness, or allow ANY narrative that contradicts their own, is not a reasonable position.
Either people are going to accept that we serve at twitter’s pleasure, and they can do what they want with us, or we can smash the entire system. Use governmental powers bring twitter to heel. The latter is a Pandora’s box and opens the door for abuse.
What’s the right answer? What is the best way to proceed? I don’t know. But I do know that expecting leftist twitter activists to be honest is just dumb. Dorsey knows he can lie to congress. They can’t touch him, and he knows it.
