[Islamism Watch]
- Classic obfuscation.
- Rather than look within, accuse everyone of similar behavior as Muslims.
- What's the point of teaching us about true meaning of Quran?
- Tell that to your co-religionists who kill in the name of Quran & Allah.
theprint.in/opinion/quran-…
This was the pits! Never mind the ignorance about who all has Charlie Hebdo made fun of in the past, the comment about Holocaust is downright pathetic. What satire could anyone see in 6 million Jews like these killed only because of their religion?
- These are your regular, everyday Bangladeshi Muslim folks.
- How long will you keep on classifying them as 'radicals', as if that is some sort of sub-category which only indulges in such violence against other religion(s)?
- A society will generally arrive at a balance in terms of permissible boundaries when it comes to making fun of religion and its Gods.
- The twisted form of secularism imposed on us meant that their was a sanction to both offend and ridicule Hindu sentiments in the name of FOE+
+ but when it came to Islam and Christianity, both the government and our faux left-liberal loony brigade bowed down to their 'sentiments'.
- Not to mention the singular right granted to Muslims for violence in the name of religion with administration, police and others looking+
+ away.
- Some geniuses equate Hindus protesting against MF Hussain in a legal manner against painting their goddesses in a derogatory manner as similar to beheading in France against Charlie Hebdo cartoons of Prophet Muhammad.
- What they forget that Hindus were/are still +
+ fighting against a system which makes them a fair game when it comes to ridicule and denigration of their beliefs and culture.
- A system imposed on them by a deracinated elite which has not sense of belonging or connection with Indian roots.
- No society will condone violence+
+ like French beheading. Or Kashmiri genocide in the name of religion. Period.
- For 'hurt sentiments', there has to be a general consensus on do's and don't and finally, police and courts.
- But, these should apply equally to all.
- And finally, 'hurt sentiments' should be a +
+ where everyone else has to make concessions to one particular religion. Every time.
- Multiple gunmen and coordinated strike at 6 places - seems like description of Mumbai 26/11 massacre by Pakistan backed Muslim terrorists.
- But its Austria this time!
- Template for killing non-believers is same across continents.

It is not even 24 hours since this 'opinion' was posted.
“We are going through a dark hour in our republic,” Austria’s chancellor said after the attack in Vienna.

We in India know exactly what you're going through. We've lost far too many lives to this scourge of Islamist terrorism.
NYT with details and live updates of the event and casualties.
nytimes.com/2020/11/02/wor…
- If you did not know that first shooter (Kasab) is from Mumbai 26/11, there wouldn't be any way of differentiating between these three pictures.
- Same ideology, same hatred for non-believers, same tactics of silencing them.
Update (1- hour old) from Vienna Police Department
@LPDWien
This is an ultimate tragedy!
A cartoonist blaming other cartoonist (Charlie Hebdo) for violence unleased on it, and others, because they lacked sensitivity.
indianexpress.com/article/opinio…
In the world of Indian liberal jamaat ->
Filing FIR === beheading or killing someone.
😋🤪😋
What 000s of such killings in India could not, one man's murder in Europe by an Islamist has sparked a global outrage. And pushback. I hope this reset persists. The bigger danger is not from Islamists, who're a known quantity but left liberal brigade.
Good to see people not taking this Quran == Bhagvat Gita! Former is about believers and non-believers in Islam, latter is about the Dharma, which is NOT equal to religion. A subtlety which will be lost on many.
But then, if you're a 'journalist', it is highly unlikely that you'll get anything right about Bhagwat Gita. At this rate, I won't be surprised if Bhagwat Gita starts getting referenced as treatise on warfare & strategy.

[Indian Journalism]
- There are many self-proclaimed champions of free speech and press who'll be very happy at these visuals.
- But remember, Rubicon has been crossed today.
- It will singe everyone. Don't cry when same template is applied to you. Image
Even when left with no option but to condemn the actions of Maharashtra government against #Arnab people can't fail to bring false equivalence. When did BJP go about hounding a journalist like what's happening with Arnab?

[Economy Watch]
-Need to take these figures with caution
-These are dispatch numbers; real crux will be sales at dealer's end
-If sales are good, dealer will order more in subsequent months, otherwise, unsold inventory will mean fall in dispatch numbers
+
livemint.com/companies/news…
+
- Plus, how much of increased dispatches is because dealers are stockpiling inventory which they'd not filled up after lock-down started.
- See YTD figures. There's a huge gap.
- How much of present numbers are pent-up demand from previous months & how long will they sustain?

[Nepal Watch]
- This is a very symbolic ceremony, won't happen w/o a lot of ground work. Remember, R&AW Chief has just visited Nepal sometime back.
- Reminder to 'analysts' who paint doomsday scenario in Foreign Policy at drop of a hat.
timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/friends-…
Its not always that the R&AW Chief makes such a public visit to meet a PM of a state. Though, won't say that border issue has disappeared. Its just that, it has been made to rest.

7 Indian companies have been mentioned along with their material -
1. Gulf Oil Corporation (Detonating Cord)
2. Solar Industries (Detonating Cord)

4. Rajasthan Explosives and Chemicals (Detonating Cord & Detonators)

4. Chamundi Explosives (Safety Fuse)
5. Economic Explosives (Detonators)
6. IDEAL Industrial Explosives (Detonators)
- Report clearly says that detonators, detonator cord and safety fuses are of commercial variety used both in mining and industrial sectors

[Secularism]
Backlash is because for our woke media, secularism and 'bhai-chara' means only Hindu girl, Muslim boy. If if time & plot permits, girl's Hindu family will be shown objecting to the marriage. How many ads have been there which show the reverse? Where's the balance?
Any brand which thinks on this line is doomed to become extinct sooner than later. One hopes that people responsible for #tanishq #TanishqJewelry are sensible to not heed such idiotic advise.
This is on a completely different level. Let me see anyone counter this. Good catch!

Now wait for a flurry of articles on how courts have been compromised, democracy is being throttled, minorities are oppressed....leading the charge will be Wire, then Scroll and their foreign cousins WaPo & NYT. And more Faiz and Rahat Indori quotes.
#ShaheenBagh
- On a serious note, #ShaheenBagh was the 'democratic' version of chakka-jam which Sharjeel Imam was advocating, especially in strategically sensitive zones like Siliguri corridor.
- #ShaheenBagh was a pretty clever and well thought out strategy.
- With women and children as +
+ supposedly the face of this 'protest', any government action to forcibly evict them would've been a massive PR disaster.
- But on the other hand, if you allowed it to be replicated across the country, you'll have serious undermining of state & central authority.
