MCA wants keep threshold for direct foreign listing at a level that is attractive and feasible for companies. The plan is to allow such listing in 8 jurisdictions to begin with i.e. USA, UK, France, Japan, South Korea, Germany & Canada.

2. Companies with negative networth will not be allowed to be listed abroad.
3. No mandatory requirement of dual listing.
4. Companies can list through fresh issue of shares or existing shareholding.
Currently listing is done through ADRs.
