According to eyewitnesses, police officers were deployed to the offices in the middle of the night to protect it from hoodlums
The office was located right beside the house of one of the prominent party chieftains
This political party has been in power in that state for over
twenty years
While the opposition swept through the region during a particular high season, the state was the only one that wasn't swept away
The hoodlums were in their pocket
The transporters were in their pocket
The market men and women were in their pocket
The artisans were in
their pocket
The landlords and indigenes were in their pocket
Nobody would dare attack anything belonging to them among the indigenes
The indigenes see the political party and its leaders as heroes and kingmakers
The presence of the policemen was based on security developments
around the state
There was a protest
Then there were hoodlums
Then there was a hijack of the protest
A lot of looting and crime ensued
A pattern began to emerge out of the chaos
A pattern that suggested some of the attacks were deliberately planned while hiding behind the chaos
created by the protest
Nobody knew those who were behind it but they were hell-bent on making a statement
They had superior firepower to the police
Hoodlums don't have that
Hoodlums were seen throwing stones at police officers, police stations anyone in uniform
Hoodlums were in
for the short term
it is what they do
It is why they are hoodlums
They make things up until they fall into a ditch
They end up in prison and see their actions as heroic
Criminals become criminals mostly because they lack wisdom
Hoodlums are wired the same way
The police officers
deployed at the station knew hoodlums wouldn't come there
They would rather go to supermarkets and malls
What would hoodlums gain by looting a television station?
Cameras?
Microphones?
Dooh!!
Hoodlum's code is no gain, no pain
Something must be in it for them
They had a score to
settle with police officers so they attack the police
They had a score to settle with police stations, so they burn some down but a TV station
Really?
The men arrived in an unmarked car
They were armed with AK-49 and other assorted weapons
They were well trained
They know their
way around technology, computers and arson
These were not a band of purposeless attackers
These are trained men on a mission of destruction
The police officers fled as soon as the men shot some bullets into the air
The sound of the bullets made some wet their pants
Hmm!
The men
whistled and used hand signals
They were more like the actors of the DELTA force movies that were made popular in the 90s
When they gained access to the studio, their leader spoke flawless English
He pointed to the staff members and said "Relax, we are not here to kill"
The staff
members were scared witless
The man said they were not there to kill, yet he stood right at the exit and was wielding a gun
The man turned to the others and said "Burn everything down"
Within a minute, they had moved into the offices and studio
Smashing everything and setting
everything on fire
The staff members had to find their way to the emergency exit as they fled for their lives
The entire operation took 90 minutes
When they were done with all the offices, the went to the car park and proceeded to burn down all the cars in the compound
They didnt
care if it was branded or not
They delivered their message succinctly and deliberately
It would be recorded as part of the losses due to the breakdown of law and order at that time
From the TV station, they proceeded to another establishment owned by the same politician
The had a
repeat performance
For them, there was much more at play than some greenhorns agitating against police brutality
They wanted to let it be known that the deal that many said had been signed and sealed will not be allowed to stand unchallenged
There are many men of ambition in the
nation and every one of them will come for the throne when it is vacant
There will be no crown prince or King elect
There will be a dirty fight
The messenger delivered
His master credited his account
The one to whom the message was sent also got it loud and clear
It was just a
warning...

PS: One of the reasons God will never do a collabo with men especially through agitations and struggles is because that is the territory of the devil
He loves disorder, chaos, anarchy and strife
He uses such emotions and eruptions as a smokescreen to pursue his agenda
of hate and destruction
A day is coming when all believers will enjoy His millennial reign
We will see justice, righteousness, peace, and joy epitomized in the Kingdom He has called us to be a part of
That day is drawing near every day

Come, Lord Jesus

Maranatha!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I learnt a tough lesson five years ago.
I was working as the PA to a Big Pastor at the time
The church had a maternity centre in the heart of a local community where pregnant women were attended to from conception to delivery for a token of ten thousand Naira
The church planted
the maternity centre as a CSR initiative and paid the salaries of all the nurses, midwives and doctors from the church purse
The stipend paid by the pregnant women was used mainly for administrative purposes
As the pastor’s PA, I had the duty of interfacing with the heads of such
Establishments and making recommendations to the pastor as needed
This lady walks into my office on a Wednesday afternoon, she was the administrator of the maternity centre.
She looked very puffed up and sickly
I got alarmed immediately
I asked her what was wrong
She said she

Jezebel played god
Her husband came home sulking because he had tried to negotiate a fair deal with Naboth to own a vineyard which Naboth inherited
Naboth was not cowered by Ahab's position or economic strength
Naboth simply told Ahab the vineyard was inherited and cannot be sold
Ahab didn't like Naboth's response
Jezebel decided to do something about it
The law of God which was made for the good of the people was twisted by Jezebel
She got people to accuse Naboth of Blasphemy and killed him
She did it without any remorse
That is the way those who do not
know God behave
When they see an advantage, they take it
It doesn't matter what God wants
Their conscience has not been tuned to think "above" and "Godly"
They only think of self and present pleasure
The same applies to Doeg the Edomite during the days of King Saul
He saw David

It was like waiting for an accident to happen
The two of them together
Like Bonny and Clyde
No couple should be so into each other's weirdness as they were
And yet, everyone felt it was for the best
His family had a strong history of mental illness
Out of the seven children his
father had, two had committed suicide while another two had been committed into psychiatric hospitals
It was not strange for their family
His father had been under psychiatric care for years but was very functional
Three of his father's siblings were sick too
Some people said
their family was cursed
It is true
Their grandfather was an herbalist whose specialty was treating mental illness
According to the story, their grandfather made a deal with the demon of madness in order to boost his success rate as a physician
As a result, he made so much money

Adonijah wanted to be the next king of Israel
By birth, it was his right
but there were two heavy yokes hanging on the neck of his ambition
The first was his parentage
He was David's son but his mother was not from Israel
She was from Geshur and as such, she was a foreign woman!
The influence of a mother over her child is huge
The Israelites would later see how dangerous a foreign queen is under the reign of Jezebel
But at this time, it was not popular to be crowned King without the support of both his father's tribe and his mother's tribe within Israel
The second hurdle was the King's blessings
As long as David was still alive, he needed the King's approval to be crowned
By this time David was 70 years old but very frail
The Bible recorded that he couldn't walk very well anymore and a young virgin had to be recruited to keep

Certain things go well together
Black and white
Bread and fried eggs
Key and keyhole
Heaven and angels
Hell and devils
You get the gist
It is also possible for two things that ought not to be together to somehow be together
Like the Ark of Covenant and Dagon
Like oil and water
He saw a puzzle a few days ago
He started mulling over it somewhere in his mind
Then He saw another puzzle similar to the first one
A man called him from another continent
The man said his life was in turmoil
In his own words "He feel like the engine of a Ferrari that has
been placed in a wheelbarrow
Like a certified surgeon condemned to washing toilets
He was not living up to his full potential in any way
He needed help and the help was not only physical
He need help to figure out his life
His life is a mess...
Wow.
He understood the man's plight

The same spirit of lust that led David to Bathsheba came upon Amnon, David's crown prince
It is a fact that once a family member, especially a parent give an evil spirit the room to operate in his or her life
The children (If such are not in Christ) will also be subject to the
same spirit
The same way David couldn't resist the spirit, Amnon fell for it too
David slept with the wife of His brother (Not by blood but by oat) Uriah
Amnon slept with his stepsister
It was a very similar pattern
God was replaying to Israel, what David did in secret that led
to the death of Uriah
The same way David disguised the murder of Uriah under warfare
Absalom invited the King and the princes to the celebration of the sharing of his sheep and killed Amnon for raping his sister
It was a wicked blow to the heart for David
No parent should witness
