1. We’ve learnt from credible sources that the tyrannical regime of @AbiyAhmedAli & his cronies are in a political & diplomatic charm offensive in galvanizing domestic & international partners so as to label Tigray’s ruling party, the TPLF, as a terrorist government.

2. It is a fact that the TPLF is the only legitimate party and government in Ethiopia that is in power with a renewed mandate to govern Tigray with more than 2.7 million people voting for it.

3. After trying to remove the TPLF from power with a rather unsuccessful surgical operation first & then a full-blown war now, the Abiy regime is attempting to label the TPLF as a terrorist group both at Ethiopia’s illegitimate parliament & through its cronies abroad.

4. The latest attempt is the below message from the Ethiopian embassy in Washington, DC. Which calls for the supporters of the warmonger @AbiyAhmedAli to go for public demonstration demanding for the label of TPLF as a terrorist organisation.

5. This latest futile move is a plot to label an entire nation that elected TPLF as its gov’t terrorists and massacre them mercilessly. This’s a rather foolish & desperate attempt to render the people of #Tigray leaderless & then commit crimes against humanity on them.

6. It does not take a genus to predict that this such a irresponsible move will turn #Ethiopia & the entire Horn of Africa region into a Hobbesian state of nature where everyone fights against everyone.

7. For the sake of reason, morality, & self-interest, it befalls on the shoulders of the Intl community, the USA gov’t, @_AfricanUnion , @EUCouncil & @UN to stop Abiy from his madness before #Ethiopia & the region go into an unprecedented, tragic downward spiral in modern times.

8. We call upon the international community to urge for a national dialogue where all stakeholders discuss & negotiate on a common roadmap for the future of #Ethiopia lest we have another Syria or Yemen.
