The first person to play a sax in space was Ron McNair, who played a soprano saxophone on Shuttle Challenger STS-41B in 1984. nasa.gov/feature/space-…
A track on @jeanmicheljarre's #RendezVous album was meant to include a sax part recorded by McNair on #Challenger in 1986 (would have been 1st music recorded in space). Renamed 'Ron's Piece' in honour of McNair and STS-51L crew #InternationalSaxophoneDay
