Rivera does not have to comment on Steven Sims Jr.'s game status because he's still on Injured Reserve. But based on Sims practicing fully all week, it would make sense to activate him for Sunday's game.
Rivera does not believe the team has found its identity yet because of its youth. They are still growing and developing.
Rivera said RB Bryce Love has had "a couple of really good days with the trainers" and that he is "close to getting back out there."
Rivera had a lot of good things to say about RB J.D. McKissic. Highlighted his versatility and said that he can be an every-down if necessary. They don't need to do that because they have Antonio Gibson, but they want to get the ball in McKissic's hands as much as possible.
Rivera has seen QB Kyle Allen make better decisions and be more consistent. The one negative has been the turnovers, and Rivera is hoping Allen can limit those moving forward.
