I promised to make a thread of some important tweeps whom I learnt something within this year.

It was supposed to be yesterday, as my birthday gift to you all, but due to some circumstances i couldn't.

MOST INFLUENCIAL PEOPLE IN MY LIFE IN THE PAST ONE YEAR.

A THREAD:
1. We all know how 2020 started, alot of chaos here and there, especially to us nigerians, and students in this nation in particular. first it started with the ASUU strike, and then COVID-19 came in, people lost their jobs and loved ones,
afterwards the #Endsars protest unfolded, and then some ignorant people hijacking the movement and looting both government and private people's properties and businesses, then the #LekkiMassacre by only God knows who is behind it,
there's also the banditry & kidnappings in the northern part of the nation, the #OyigboMassacre and #IPOBMassacre and so on.
2. 2020 has been a very tough year for Nigerians, but still i learnt one or two things from some individuals around me, all hope not lost afterall, even at the brink of death we learn (learning how it feels like to die) which you cannot learn in school.
3. So here is a list of the people i learn something from them this year, you can follow them base on their characters, a person can possess more than a character, sometimes i will mention him/her in more than one character,
other times I'll mention the person in just one of it (that doesn't mean he/she doesn't possess other characters).
4. I tried as much as possible to narrow the numbers and also only choose from people i know this year (except one or two of them), those i know for a longer time are not included (im sorry).
5. I. Intelligence & wisdom: i am starting here because as a student and seeker of knowledge and a Sapiosexual, i tend to be drawn to people with intelligence and wisdom, you can be intelligent and lack widom to apply that intelligence, in this case pride and arrogance comes in,
once i sense an atom of arrogance from you, i draw a line between us, in this category i can mention almost all my tweeps, i know people i follow, my sanity matters to me, so i don't follow those that don't add any value to my life, the qualities matters not the numbers,
i could have given this category to you all, but still ill have to choose a few, people like the hard working and intelligent @TasiuAl @YasinAwwal,
@almujtaba70 (whom i know from my days in uni, he was in final year when i joined the uni, we used to look up to them when they give lectures at gatherings) @maqary @successfulaboki @SNakande (i want to be called a professor someday, so you are our mirror, lol)
@Supheey (My senior as i always call him, im sure he doesn't know why), @Adamusanusi11 (A brother i became fond of from our 1st conversation) etc. I can go on and on. Thank you all for making this year a memorable one for me.
6. II. Integrity: This is not anyother person than @successfulaboki He is called the great oracle for a reason, i met this guy in march of this year, but i think i learn alot from him more than some people i know for a long time,
i could have mentioned only him in the category of intelligence and wisdom, because he possesses that too, but i have alot of people in that category so it wouldn't be fair to mention one person. But when we talk about integrity, this man has that.
He will never do things that will tarnish his image no matter what he is going to gain from it, the little time i had with him made me realise, integrity is more important than wealth and fame. After all Buhari once won our hearts with his integrity.
7. III. Honesty: is it true that honest people are rare these days? i was speaking with someone and he said now adays we don't find honest people anymore, one particular person came to my mind, if really that is what honesty is then this person has it,
he tells you the truth about you straight up, it depends on you to accept it or not (because not everyone accept being told the truth about theirselves or characters), I have known this person for almost 12 years, but our relationship kind of magnified this year,
this is not anyother person than @being_haqq guy i love you, keep sticking to your principles.
8. IV. Loyalty: this is another character ill find it hard to mention just one person, i came to know some people who are very loyal to things and people so dear to them, sometimes loyalty can be good or bad depending on what or who you are loyal to,
what im taking here is the loyalty itself and how to defend what you are loyal to as much as you can, i can mention loyalist like @thisisjaguar @nanakyaftun and @Mz_Arab (who has been loyal to wizkid from day one even though he has been making wack songs all his life kidding)
9. V. Respectfulness: Respect is reciprocal as they say, the young respects the old and vice, i couldn't think long before i mention @BoldLeonidas Eventhough he was my senior back in islamiya and my teacher, he listens to me when i talk,
he respects my view and only add a few things to it. This attitude prepared me to listen to those below me also. And thanks to him i have been seeing changes.
10. VI. Responsibility: when responsibility is given to some people, they do it diligently, follow due processes and execute it. I like people of this caliber because they make your work easy, when it comes to this category, ill mention @being_haqq again,
and also @sanahExclusive i call her the iron lady. These guys taught me to do my work according to how it is assigned to me, without compromises, it an attitude not everyone possess. I wish i can do better than them in this regard.
11. VII. Humility: im giving this to @Afsamar_ as intelligent as she is she is also very humble, never allow her intelligence get into her head, she listens to you and draw a conclusion, without being biased to her judgement.
She has been a great friend throughout this year and i keep learning daily from her. Thank you barrister.
12. VIII. Generosity: Another category i cannot mention one person, but ill mention my great chairman @Aminumadaki7 @DayluAisha and @haruna_maimunat, these people are so generous in their dealings.
13. IX. Perseverance: most of us can't stand to doing one particular thing for a long time, but this year i met someone whom i know even with all the difficultie and challenges coming his way, he stood his ground into achieving one goal, being a brand ambassador of norland,
norland, @Abumaryam_1 your perseverance towards achieving your goal gave me the courage to keep moving into realising my own goal too. I'll also like to mention @KhairMss Eventhough we don't know each other, but what she does on the TL is something else, maam keep up the hustle.
14. X. Kindness: I'll end this thread with this valuable character, everyone can be kind depending on how you approach and interact with them, just like the category of intelligence, ill mention all my followers on this category, but still ill have to mention a few people,
This is my little thread, ill like to appreciate @asheecul @aminu_acid @9jaobserver @malcomXshabbaz @Elburna1 @TahaAdam @Phatoomah @i_am_bauer you guys possess all the above characters, i keep learning from you daily,
but as i promised i won't mention those i know before this year except for @BoldLeonidas @being_haqq and @Mz_Arab

Thank you all for reading this.
