This map gives you a glimpse of the very dense drainage network in the region. Rivers don't care for "International boundaries", and make a stronger case for transboundary co-operation.
Large scale river bed mining and brick making operations are rampant all along this region in North Bengal.
Between these mining operations, railway lines and tea gardens, there are so many stories of people and wildlife - not all are pleasant. #EdenWalk#Rivers#India (3/9)
We did spend many peaceful moments along some of these rivers. For example - this gentle sunset view right after we had crossed the Diana River.
A few minutes after crossing this stream, we came across even more boulder & gravel mining on the river. #EdenWalk#Rivers (4/9)
There's also this short video that I made. A glimpse into what it felt like walking across this region and meeting these rivers. Do take a look, send me feedback on what you think. #Rivers#Bengal#EdenWalk#India (5/9)

Hi all, here's a map of Kolkata with wards marked out. 1-141
The current lockdown might last long & we have to prepare for the situation. 1 way to approach this problem is decentralisation. Stay with me. (1/n)
The map here lists all the wards of Kolkata with boundaries. We form ward level information & volunteer units. Add information about each ward, & some people from each ward to take ownership of their respective wards. This will help us resolve issues locally. (2/n)
Use this live map below to identify the ward you live in, and contact me so that i can share with you a map of your ward with you.
Then, you start adding information on essential services such as pharmacies, groceries that are currently servicing. (3/n) drive.google.com/open?id=1IUXaG…
