It hurts to get involved... It hurts to to know and feel the suffering of another. But if we don’t... if we stay silent... then it will be us next time. That’s what I’ve learned. That’s what advocating for Reality Winner has taught me. What if she hadn’t alerted us? 
Reality watched and waited. Nothing. She’s the activist. She’s the inspiration. Reminding me of my daughter brought me to the table, but the injustices, the cruelty, the unfairness, as I learned more... kept me in the fight. I just have to try to make it better. I have to try.
The narrative that was painted by prosecutors which came from the Jeff Sessions DOJ was broadcasted all over National TV. She got coverage then. The problem was, it was all lies.
