Kenney is performing like a US state governor, not a Canadian provincial premier.

Here is ALEC instructing far right politicians how to eliminate power to protect public health.

Since Alberta is governed by the far right, it’s just the rationale we hear from Kenney. He won’t enact public health protections again.

That’s why he removed the power of the Chief Medical Officer of Health in April 2020. She unilaterally closed schools and ordered a lockdown in keeping with the rest of the nation. He stripped her of that power very shortly after.

Now she just advises politicians who make public health decisions.

Kenney has no intention to ever lockdown Alberta again.

He will have to be removed from office, along with UCP before we can adequately protect the public health of Albertans ever again.

Legislation will need to be amended. Because UCP has already changed it to protect liberty.

Giving the individual agency to decide whether they will adhere to recommendations or not. The power to infect others with COVid through liberty and freedom is guaranteed by Kenney.

Just like ALEC has requested.
