First Sheldon Adelson's paper had that huge "Biden Wins" headline. Today, it has a brutal editorial telling Trump he lost:"(Trump) does a disservice to his more rabid supporters by insisting that he would have won the Nov. 3 election absent voter fraud. That’s simply false." 1/
"There is no evidence, however, that fraud cost Mr. Trump the election, no matter how much the president tweets the opposite and his supporters wish it so...He would remain well behind Mr. Biden in NV even if unverified GOP claims of thousands of illegal votes were dropped..."
2/
"...rhetoric from Trump surrogates alleging widespread illegal activity has been devoid of detailed evidence supporting the charge that there was a concerted effort to 'steal' the election through corruption."
3/
"An electoral system that involves the participation of 150 million Americans will have its share of issues, but it’s an insult to reason and logic to argue that isolated irregularities constitute proof of a grand national conspiracy."
4/
The coup de grace: "Mr. Trump lost this election because he ultimately didn’t attract enough votes and failed to win a handful of swing states that broke his way in 2016."
Adelson is like Reagan emissary Paul Laxalt sent to tell Ferdinand Marcos: "Cut and cut cleanly."

Hey, @Glenn_CookNV, a major national publication wants me to talk to them about this and the stewardship of the RJ.
You know what?
I think I will.

Trump sycophant Lindsey Graham under the withering gaze of "FOX&Friends" mangled name of our state as he lied (starts at 4:50):
"The election is not over by the way. Someone needs to look at Nevada. The lawsuits in Nevada are very promising."
No. They are not. All dismissed.
1/
The election is not over! Really, senator? Biden is up by 37,000 votes here and even Sheldon Adelson's paper says the fraud claims are nonsense.
He then claims the signature verification machine "was basically turned off."
Are you kidding me?
Pathetic and outrageous.
2/
"They accepted every signature whether it was fraudulent or not. They may win that lawsuit."
Graham is a lawyer. What he is saying is patently false.
Let me remind you again what Sheldon Adelson says: It's over!
"(Trump supporters) have used the state’s mailed ballots and a few allegations of fraud to claim that widespread voting impropriety helped tilt Nevada's election...But a review of available facts and cases found few, if any, irregularities that could have swayed the results." 1/
This piece, by Adelson's lead investigative reporter, is devastating to the Trump cause here.
Once you've lost Sheldon...
Story methodically debunks all of the nonsense (except maybe for the Biden-Harris van full of fraudsters!) put forth by Trump, Laxalt, Grenell et. al.
2/
"...Trump campaign officials, including state campaign co-chair and former Nevada Attorney General Adam Laxalt, have not returned calls and emails and repeatedly have refused to provide detailed information that would allow Review-Journal reporters to verify or debunk.."
Sad!
3/
"Here is what any serious person being honest with you about elections, and the laws surrounding those elections, will tell you: In EVERY election, a certain number (generally very small) of votes will be cast by voters who, for certain reasons, are not actually eligible..."
"And this brings me to the assertions of our former attorney general and those assisting him in besmirching Nevada’s processes in this election..one has to wonder just what was he doing relative to such votes for the four years in which he was the chief law enforcement officer.."
"Every voter and every candidate...deserves a fair election which counts only lawful votes. And in those elections where there is actual evidence of improper votes that actually matter, we have a legal system to find and remove those votes. The system actually works."
@TheNVIndy Remember I told you on the early voting blog that Biden needed to win Clark by 80K and Trump needed to offset that in rurals.
Currently:
Clark - Biden+86K
Rurals - Trump+65K
Washoe - Biden+11K
Rural turnout/margins did not get there for Trump.
Clark firewall held for Dems.
@TheNVIndy So what we have in NV is what I expected to happen: Dems had built up 90K margin Clark in early/mail. Biden is going to win Clark by close to that number or more. Washoe is going slightly to Biden as I thought and Trump crushing it in rurals (bigger than '16 but not big enough).
NEWS: New NV numbers from Clark -- small batch, he's now up by 22.5K. Gain of about 2K.
It's still...over.
Only a few thousand ballots added, but Biden continues to win by large margin every Clark update. Third straight update that he has won by 2 to 1 or close to it:
Biden: +5,454
Trump: 2,934
Overall:
Biden: 632,558
Trump: 609,901
Lead is 22,657, or 1.6 percent
Let me show you how impossible this is for Trump here:
First, three reports of Clark ballots so far -- pattern of large proportional Biden gains. He has now almost tripled his election night lead of 7,500.
Apropos of nothing, may I remind everyone that in the history of this country, there has never been a Nevadan in a presidential Cabinet.
This is a fact. Really.
(Please don't pollute my feed with Secretary of Slow-Ballot-Counting jokes.)
I think @DTaylorUH
would make a helluva labor secretary and the Culinary did help Biden win Nevada. One of labor movement's most accomplished figures.
It would somehow be fitting if the end of @SenatorReid's career was as energy secretary. The man who stopped the DOE from putting nuclear waste at Yucca as head of DOE?
