Because the media is still portraying Trump as somehow immortal in defeat, most of you haven't figured out yet that McConnell is now running the show, not Trump. If and when McConnell decides Trump is standing in the way of the Georgia runoffs, he'll (selfishly) finish Trump off.
How do I know Trump won't actually do it? Because it would guarantee the worst possible outcome for him, and a narcissist like him has no interest in that. By nature he's a (very weak) dealmaker. He knows he has to find a way to negotiate his way out of going to prison.
Blowing up Iran won't magically keep Trump out of prison. All it would do is eliminate whatever leverage he has, like when you shoot your only remaining hostage. It's the THREAT that might get you somewhere. If you actually do it, you're finished.
So unless you think Trump is literally suicidal – and I don't – there's no reason to believe that he's planning to go out in a manner that would result in the worst possible outcome for him. He arrogantly thinks he can avoid prison, by scaring us into letting him go free.
So it really comes down to whether you're skittish enough to fall for a threat that you KNOW is fake, just to avoid having to sweat an imaginary scenario. But just know that if you buy into Trump's empty threats, you're actively helping keep him out of prison.

Biden will play no role in Trump’s federal prosecution. He’ll pick a solid AG who will make those decisions independently. Biden is only publicly lamenting about prosecuting Trump so it won’t look partisan when the AG does it. Everyone stop fretting over this, it’s a non-issue.
Besides, Trump will try to pardon himself on federal charges. The delay from the resulting court battle will mean that New York will get first crack at him on state charges. If federal charges come after the pardon mess is sorted out, Trump will be in state prison by then anyway.
I see many people going completely out of their minds, turning against Biden, doing the “all hope is lost, Trump is going to get away with it all” routine, and it’s over NOTHING. If you’re going to have a mental breakdown over politics, at least learn how politics works first.
Trump has lost dozens of election related court cases. Coming into today, he'd only won a single case, netting him a handful of votes. Today that was overturned, meaning Trump is back to not having won a single court case. Results would be the same if his lawyers hadn't shown up.

Yet our side is the one that's fretting and panicking.
Imagine how much more damage we could do to these evil sinking clowns if we'd stop panicking and get up and fight, and focus on winning things like the Georgia runoffs.
Hysterical panicking is NOT how we win anything. Please knock it the hell off. Every time the republicans so much as fart in our direction, we all have to be talked off a ledge. No wonder we lose so many battles we should have won. Or side is a bunch of fucking panickers.
When you heard the Wayne County news, did you look at what happens next and realize there's nothing to it, or did you just use it as an excuse to panic because you're clinically addicted to panicking?
When you heard that Trump fired Chris Krebs tonight, did you realize that Krebs was basically trying to get fired in protest anyway, and that the move got Trump literally nowhere? Or did you just use it as an excuse to panic about Trump somehow having a secret evil genius plan?
