1. The #Bears offense is bad. We know this. Still, so is the Vikings defense.
Their secondary is gutted at corner and they have no pass rush.
If the O-line, who is getting some help back tonight, can protect Nick Foles he'll be hitting open guys.
2. Beating the Vikings this year has resulted when opponents force them into turnovers.
They have 12 turnovers in their five losses.
No turnovers in their three wins.
The #Bears defense has been painfully close to several takeaways the past few weeks. They're due.
3. Part of why Minnesota has avoided turnovers lately is Dalvin Cook. His ability to dominate on the ground has allowed Kirk Cousins to take fewer chances in the passing game.
The Vikings are winless when he's held under 100 yards on the ground.
I wanted to wait a bit for things to settle down before assessing what the #Bears accomplished over the past three days from the draft to undrafted free agency.
Here we go.
1. I love how Ryan Pace altered his approach to the early rounds. He shifted to targeting more proven players who were highly productive and experienced in college. #Bears.
2. Roquan Smith is a stud. He was my favorite defensive prospect and I knew he'd make such a good fit for the #Bears. Vic Fangio is a former linebackers coach who's overseen Ray Lewis and Patrick Willis. His push for Smith should be considered gospel. #Bears
