The secret file system was designed to keep the public in the dark and if anyone were to ask, the County of Monterey would simply lie.

I know, I exposed that aspect to the County's operation.

I'm sure it's back now with @SheriffBernal. Perhaps he stores his accts there.

How many millions of dollars in civil settlements will the unchecked abuses by the @MCoSheriff create for the County of Monterey - @WendyRootAskew? I would urge you to show some early leadership and get ahead of this thing.

The investigation was triggered by my letter to the CJP regarding disgraced Judge Fields conduct in holding fundraisers with land use attorney Tony Lombardo in a tournament named the "Robe & Gavel".

Locally, we had a woman named Crystal Powser who filed a declaration with a court of law that was not only credible but contained facts that were not in dispute. The corrupt Monterey County bench sealed the declaration and Powser was made out to be a nut.

It was one of the worst treatments (publicly) by established figures on the Monterey County bench. Like Robert O'Farrell, like Stephen Sillman, like Michael Fields, like Russ Scott.

And Russ Scott is the sleazy Monterey College of Law graduate that threw out the crim case

... as Santa Clara County SO drops in public confidence because Sheriff Laurie Smith was "allegedly" using a pay to play CCW policy, you pay Smith's people - you get a concealed gun permit, it's important to remember this fraud is/was widespread.
