Mullah Omar Irani of anti-Iran terrorist group Jaish-ul-Adl was killed by Pakistani police at the behest of MI in Turbat yesterday. Some in ISI had tipped him off and he was trying to escape. Seen as an attempt to get Baloch dissidents in Iran in exchange by Pakistan
Iran carried out a drone attack against him in Kalahoo district of Kech in 2013. He managed to escape but his daughter was killed. He was then shifted to a posh area of Turbat by Pakistan's intelligence agency ISI
He also ran death squads against the Baloch and Baloch armed groups BLF and BRA had carried out an attack against him in the past
@CNNnews18 had reported that Mullah Omar Irani of Jaish-ul-Adl was responsible for the kidnapping of Kulbhushan Jadhav from Iran financialexpress.com/india-news/thi…
The incumbent Biden administration to improve ties with Iran would halt funding to anti-Iran terrorist group Jaish-ul-Adl via Pakistan. Hence Mullah Omar Irani is of no use to Pakistan and he's being hung out to dry. Pakistan also gets to improve relations with Iran showing this
Biden & Obama: "The debate over Jundallah was resolved only after Bush left office when, within his first weeks as president, Barack Obama drastically scaled back joint U.S.-Israel intelligence programs targeting Iran, according to multiple .. officers." foreignpolicy.com/2012/01/13/fal…
"Jundallah head Abdolmalek Rigi was captured by Iran in February 2010. Although initial reports claimed that he was captured by the Iranians.., a retired intelligence officer with knowledge of the incident told me Rigi was detained by Pakistani intelligence officers in Pakistan."
You see Pakistan repeating with Mullah Omar Irani of Jaish-ul-Adl what it did with Jundullah (predecessor organisation to Jaish-ul-Adl) chief Abdolmalek Rigi. Pakistan got back some Baloch dissidents in return from Iran

A small thread on the behaviour of Jamiati thugs. I've not come across such uncouth behaviour from the Talibs even after I provoked them a lot.
I once called Ghani a pet dog of US and none of his supporters came to abuse me. One of them, a friend, messaged me and said "I didn't expect this from you, Aveek." we debated and he said wait a few months and you'll know. It was polite throughout
I once just tweeted that the way Noor tweets he'll lose whatever credibility he has left. His advisor calls me up at 2 AM Kabul time with a mix of threats & inducements. This when he didn't even know my address. But once a thug, always one. Landaghars. He's today the ambassador

Iran, India, Russia to Discuss Building Alternative to Suez Canal- the INSTC to be linked to Chabahar port later ifpnews.com/wired/iran-ind…
There's a lot of loose talk on Chabahar in Indian media & think-tanks. Chabahar and Gwadar aren’t competing military bases!

This term “String of Pearls” itself is dismissed as silly in serious Indian foreign policy circles. Interestingly, term coined in US Army War College paper

The way people of BJP and RSS go about mocking everything Russian, they shouldn't act surprised when Russia cozies up to Pakistan. US will come to our rescue just like 1962.
Of course foreign policy isn't shaped by egos but India is a junior partner in the India - Russia and can't afford to act in such a fashion. When politicians and children of serving top bureaucrats keep vilifying Russia, don't expect them not to return the favor
It pretty much like when all the Afghan bureaucrats and politicians tweet anti - Russia propaganda by US - Saudi - Qatar on Syria and then expect Russia not to do a little propaganda on Afghanistan in return

India shouldn't pay heed to the US paid Indian "analysts". US has 108% debt, China has 50%. China will lead the world. Our interests lie in working with China and not US
It was Nehru's blunder to trust US and that led to 1962 war. Today's China won't defeat India, it will pulverize India
China has put debt trap in Africa. Okay. So? We should be concerned with immediate neighbors - Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Maldives, Bangladesh. China took advantage and much of it is because we bungled. So time to get rid of mediocrity
