BIDEN, HARRIS SPEAK AFTER DISCUSSION WITH GOVERNORS: President-election Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris deliver remarks after meeting with the National Governors Association’s leadership team. twitter.com/i/broadcasts/1…
In their meeting, Biden told the governors, ‘I want you to know that I will be your partner in the White House,’ and assured them that his administration would provide the necessary resources to help their states in the battle against the coronavirus.
Biden noted the frustration his transition team is feeling towards the Trump administration, specifically regarding the nation’s vaccine development process, or Operation Warp Speed.
Some GOP governors on the call have previously spoken out against Pres. Trump’s refusal to concede and unwillingness to allow the Biden-Harris transition team to take part in their task force meetings.
Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan told AP that Trump’s false claims of voter fraud were ‘dangerous’ and ‘embarrassing,’ ...
...while Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson said over the weekend that Biden is the official president-elect, and urged Trump to share any necessary intelligence information in order for a smooth transfer of power to take place.
