See this chap on the left?
He looks a nice old chap, doesn’t he really? Could be your uncle or your dad or your brother or a mate.
His name is David. Say hello to David.

David has spent his life in the Labour movement. He’s worked hard. He’s always been a union man.
In fact, David was active in the NUM and the TGWU.
David is a Labour man. A Len McCluskey man. A Corbyn man.
A socialist.
Hard times and hard graft.
Honest.
The best of British.

Only, David has a dirty secret that isn’t actually a secret and he doesn’t think it’s dirty.
What’s David’s secret-that-isn’t-a-secret?

David is a Jew hater.
A racist.
A racist conspiracy theorist.

David thinks Jews control the Labour Party.
This honest-as-the-day-is-long working man from Barnsley knows that where there is power and money the Jews are at the centre of it all, pulling the strings. And *you* are the suckers feeding the grasping Jew what he craves above all else: money.
And as you can see by the likes of his tweets, lovely socialist northern top bloke David has lots of friends who agree with him.
They are all lovely people too. Good people.
The kind of people you can trust.
Salt of the earth.
Now David was around in the Labour movement years ago. He would have been there during the miner’s strike - he was NUM and a proud Barnsley lad - and would have cheered on good old Arthur Scargill and Tony Benn when they came to speak.
In fact, if you are old enough, you probably gave money to support the Barnsley NUM miners and perhaps David handed you a “Coal Not Dole” sticker which you wore with pride on your student donkey jacket.
You might have met at Party conference.
Who knows where your paths crossed?
And if you had met David, you’d have thought:
“David is a good man. A union man. A Labour man. He’s my kind of man.”

But unless you too are a Jew hating racist then you were very, very wrong weren’t you?

And guess what - I absolutely guarantee that *you* know a David.

This morning i posted yet another thread on a Labour member (this time a Cllrr & leader of a Lab group on a district council).
I've been doing this for 6 years now.
@Keir_Starmer has promised to remove antisemitism from the party he leads.
So i've got a basic question for him
"How?"
That's my question to @Keir_Starmer

Because so far the model looks suspiciously like the old one but with better rhetoric around it & some visible action.

The model is "We'll sub-contract this problem out to a handful of Jews & their allies. We won't help them"
Put simply - if me and a small group of others including @GnasherJew @LabourAgainstAS etc didn't do what we do (find Labour Jew haters & try & get them noticed by the party) then what would happen to said Jew-hating/baiting Labour members?

I can answer that: nothing.

Thread on the racist leader of a District Council Labour Group:

Cllr Charmaine Morgan is the Labour Group Leader on South Keveston District Council. SKDC is responsible for providing services to a population of around 160,000.
Cllr Morgan is active on Twitter and has a history of interacting with anti-Jewish racists who have been expelled from Labour, most notably Maureen Fitzsimmons who was apparently expelled in February 2020 (years after having been reported to the party).
When Maureen Fitzsimmons was expelled, she tweeted how Labour Friends of Israel members were “paid agents of Israel” and had committed acts of treason.

Very short thread on Owen Jones:

1. Owen is getting praised by some who should know better today because he called out an antisemitic tweet by an ex-mate/fellow former LOTO Outrider

2. In March 2018 a Corbynista CLP exec member in Sheffield used the same language in a tweet
3. This tweet by Marianne Tellier was called out by Jews and our allies and a number of Labour MPs - including Magaret Hodge - called on the party to take immediate action.
This story was all over Twitter and the national press - including BBC News
bbc.co.uk/news/uk-englan….
4. The offensive tweet was posted on 23rd March 2018 and on 29th March Labour suspended Tellier.
5. During this period Owen Jones was tweeting furiously (as usual) and posted often about antisemitism and his glorious role in combating it.

@stephenkb Stephen. I'm glad you are joining the campaign but i must argue with your points.
Literally none of us leading/facilitating this campaign are saying Twitter deals well with other forms of racism. Our next hope is that this builds into a wider front to take on the SM companies.
@stephenkb Why should the hashtag make you uncomfortable? Do you suggest we add an "all lives matter" caveat?
Specific experiences can be universalised, of course. But where is the rule that says they MUST be universalised AT ALL TIMES?
Does the specificity of an experience devalue it?
@stephenkb If I had made an argument around the BLM matter campaign (of course, i didn't and wouldn't) that BLM as a slogan makes me "uncomfortable" because it doesn't recognise non-black Jewish experience, what would you have said?
I think i can guess. And i'd be with you.

Thread on antisemitic conspiracy theories shared by Jeremy Corbyn and others:

I was reminded today by a RT of an old thread of mine, that a number of familiar names from the British Left signed the infamous Cairo Declaration of 2002.
The 2002 Cairo Declaration includes both antisemitic conspiracy theories and support for acts of terrorist violence perpetrated in the name of the Palestinians, largely against Jewish citizens of Israel.
In this extract, the reference to “Zionist perpetrators of genocidal crimes” is nothing more than an untruth (there is no genocide against Palestinians) that targets the 90% plus of Jews worldwide (including of course those Jews who are Israeli citizens) who identify as “Zionist”

Short thread on Labour antisemitism:

An example of the poisonous hatred of British Jews that i noticed in the replies to the EHRC statement re the Conservative Party.
This appalling person claims to have been an active member of Glasgow North CLP.
This Labour racist claims to have now left the party, but who knows if that is true or not.
What is noticeable is that if true - this is a racist who left instead of being expelled.
