I like @TuckerCarlson a lot, and he has one of the best shows on television. But he sounds like a spoiled brat here. I wonder if he recalls his tepid and skeptical attitude toward Lt. General Michael Flynn in the past four years? Because I do. Sidney Powell, came to D.C. and...
...tirelessly battered at the doors of the Department of Justice for over a year, all while posh D.C. mocked her as a crazy and continued to defame a war hero. She pushed through it all. It was Sidney who finally forced the DOJ to start turning over shocking documents; she...
...forced them to reveal details that not only exonerated Flynn but provided critical evidence about the attempted coup against the Trump administration by senior members of the FBI, DOJ, and crtically, Barack Obama and Joe Biden. Michael Flynn, an innocent man and a remarkable..
... patriot, would be doing jail time right now were it not for Sidney Powell’s absolute conviction that he was innocent and that she could and would reveal the truth, come hell or high water. Frankly, had Sidney not come along and Flynn had gone to jail, I don’t think Tucker...
...would have given it a second thought. Now, fresh off that exhausting year and half, Sidney has taken on an even more titanic struggle. She is working to prove that there is systemic, banana republic-like election fraud in our country. She says she has the evidence; she says...
...she can’t send it yet…ok. So we have to be a little patient! The million-dollar question isn’t why won’t Sidney (who barely has time to sleep or eat) text Tucker the evidence he wants. The question is why won’t Tucker text her and say, “whenever you are ready, and if you...
...choose, my platform is at your disposal to present your case to the nation, and until then good luck in the fight.” Tucker’s rant at Sidney tonight isn’t journalistic hardball, I might add. This was just petty whining at the best of times, but all the more abrasive and...
...unimpressive given the grave stakes we are facing in this critical period in our history. Give Sidney some time and the benefit of the doubt—she has earned it...
Stop harassing an absolute warrior of a woman, who has already proven herself multiple times over, and do something constructive with your air time, Tucker.

Drinking coffee, watching the sun rise, and reading the attachments to Lin Wood's TRO in his Georgia suit:
At this point, I should not be shocked, but I still am amazed by this kind of brazen behavior. They are determined to win at all costs.
Mmm, so... I think that Erica Johnson and people like her should be prosecuted. Obviously the recount was a farce anyway, but these people couldn't even follow the rules of the farce.

A lot of Republicans still don't understand why Trump won in '16 and struggle to imagine he could win in 2020. Mainstreamers like @Peggynoonannyc talk of a return to "normal." Their normal killed the GOP. Trump has formed a new party under the GOP banner.

I believe that we are at a turning point in history. The fabric of our society is frayed. Many of our fellow citizens are ignorant, radicalized by public education, and intent on destroying their homeland. We could lurch left and descend into socialism. But, I think something...
...else will happen. I think his new party will reelect @realDonaldTrump and America will make a magnificent resurgence. The global trend toward nationalism (that we saw before COVID) will reignite, too. I think we are at an incredible turning point in history, and it is one...

This is an article in the WSJ this morning reporting on masks mandates in the airline industry. There are a few takeaways from this, including how important it is to elect a good president. A quick thread, for those of you following the mask policies.

wsj.com/articles/airli…
Resistance to masks on board is growing and the airlines and the flight attendant unions are pushing for a federal rule on masking. Note that if they got a federal rule, non-compliant passengers “could face conviction and fines.” The flight attendants want to *really* crack down.
DOT has refused to issue an emergency rule, and one of the reasons according to its General Counsel is because DOT “also embraces the notion that there should be no more regulations than necessary.” That's a wonderful attitude. We have too much federal regulation in this country.

Great article in the Telegraph arguing against "circuit-break" lockdowns that are being proposed in the UK. @AllisterHeath points are equally pertinent for the U.S. The major difference is that Americans have more defenses against lockdowns.

telegraph.co.uk/politics/2020/…
Britain has no written constitution. When Parliament acts, that is constitutional law. Our written constitutions afford us rights we can point to and enforce against our government. Brits are looking at this nightmare: threat of lockdown "at the first sign of any new epidemic."
With respect to lockdowns, our structure of government gives us the power to take back our lives. State legislatures could both end lockdowns, *and* retool the authority of the executives to protect us from future abuse.

As we move into autumn, talk is growing of returning lockdowns. Europe in particular seems to be rushing toward more punishing confinements for citizens and destruction to their economies. But, there was an interesting and (unintentionally) hopeful piece in the WSJ yesterday…
The article detailed the disputes among epidemiologists on whether further lockdowns will be needed. But the worry among leaders, WSJ reported, is the question, how much more will people put up with? They are worried about the national mood. I wrote about that concept in May...
The national mood is a "very real influence in politics, and many constitutional abuses have never been attempted over the years, not because they were unconstitutional, but because politicians and leaders understood the actions would not be tolerated." thefederalist.com/2020/05/18/how…

From the Suprme Court to voting, the Democrats right now are experiencing the brutal swing of the pendulum on policies and problems they themselves created. Democrats politicized the Court because, as has been noted in the #ACBHearings, the Dems were unable to convince the...
...people to adopt their radical policies, so they used the courts to advance their agendas instead. And they have deliberately attempted to create chaos in the 2020 voting process to open the door to challenge the election and possibly throw it to the Court. They also have...
...been in overdrive to terrify the American people with COVID so that they can use this crisis to expand power and erode the traditional independence of the American people. Now their voters are indeed terrified of going to the polls because of COVID and RBG died right before...
