2. I'm hearing from our European partners that they are increasingly in sync with US concerns towards China, but welcome disentangling them from what they see as Trump's belligerence towards all comers, including our allies.
3. Both emphasize that a lot of effort will need to go into restoring US credibility, especially in Asia, which they see as severely damaged. They say this will not happen overnight, just because Trump is no longer president.
