For those keeping track it's Alberta's third daily record in a row and fourth time we've passed the 1,000 new cases per day mark.
The two big cities account for most of the 11, 274 active cases: Calgary's @ 4,394 and Edmonton @ 4,941.
When the province was gearing up to reopen in May, Calgary had been @ 1,011 cases, Edmonton at 53. google.ca/amp/s/www.cbc.…
and as mentioned in the initial story I linked to at top of thread, Alberta has among highest infection rates in the country while also among the fewest restrictions. Namely the only province with no mask mandate, though Edmonton and Calgary do have indoor mask bylaws.
