We're waiting for @JustinTrudeau to show up at an event in a backyard in Surrey this a.m. Protestors outside. Colleagues have identified at least one who followed Liberals from Hamilton Ontario yesterday to Surrey BC today. Would not say if he's w/ an organization. #cdnpoli @JustinTrudeau up now, says it is such a treat to be back in BC, his second home. He's flanked by Gordie Hogg, who is running for Liberals in Surrey South White Rock, currently held by Conservatives.

@CMOH_Alberta says the current context is "grim," says 1,155 new cases since yesterday. Third time in a week we've reached over 1,000 new cases threshold. Eleven new cases.

Alberta Premier @jkenney will join @CMOH_Alberta today at the province's #COVID19 briefing. Not a surprise as we expect currently unspecified new public-health restrictions to be announced. While we wait to hear from Alberta, neighbouring Saskatchewan reports 111 new #COVID19 cases, says new public health measures TBA tomorrow.

We are in court for the sentencing hearing of Matt McKnight. He was found guilty of five counts of sex assault.
