Albertans direly need help getting mainstream media attention to this story.

Not only did Minister Luan reveal the official plan is to do NOTHING to address COVid, so did Minister Shandro at another Grande Prairie AGM this weekend.
Published by South Peace News, reporter Susan Thompson records Minister Shandro pandering to what appears to be Q’Anon conspiracy theories. Though she didn’t label it as such.

Shandro revealed the Alberta COVid strategy is being guided by Dr. Hodkinson. A discredited physician.
The Canadian College of Physicians and Surgeons recently released a public statement distancing the organization from Dr. Hodkinson’s opinion about COVid danger and the use of masks.

Now it seems the doctor has allegedly recommended testing be stopped, unless symptomatic.
This opinion is consistent with the changes announced in Alberta COVid testing protocol in recent months.

Up to 40% of those infected with COVid are asymptomatic.

Restricting COVid testing to those with symptoms two months ago would explain why 85% of current cases have no known origin of exposure.

Super spreaders (asymptomatic carriers) have been transmitting the virus unwittingly. Never having had a test to confirm their infection.
I’d bet my bottom dollar, many of them are school children and young adults frequenting indoor dining and lounges.

Bringing a deadly disease with them when interacting with family and friends.
Seems the Alberta government is implementing Q’Anon policy. Ignoring and rejecting experts in public health and federal government, as well as the World Health Organization.

The mentally deranged have taken over the asylum.

Please send help! I’m not joking.
This needs to be amplified across the nation.

The fact we have Q’Anon inspired public health policy being implemented in Alberta is a national security risk.

Albertans will travel across the nation and internationally. They will bring the disease with them. And share.
That puts the entire nation at risk. And it could be a contributing factor in the sharp spike in cases across the nation.

How many other provinces are conferring with discredited physicians pushing Q’Anon conspiracy theories and recommending Q’Anon inspired COVid management?
Please amplify this information to your local journalists and public health centres. It needs to be stopped.

Albertans do NOT want to be systematically exterminated or cursed with lifelong health issues by severely uninformed politicians & policies based on conspiracies.
There is a reason far right partisans believe disinformation. It’s being propagated by domestic & foreign special interests.
Please help innocent and unsuspecting Albertans from being infected by truly incompetent demagogues running a kakistocracy. Those of us who are informed wouldn’t mind some assistance either.

Boy am I getting tired of witnessing the NDP get trampled in QP daily.

Why is it the left never knows how to control the conversation and doesn’t even recognize when the right are controlling the narrative by playing victim?

Shandro yesterday, Nixon today.
Nixon is playing victim by just repeating “we will not make this political” over and over. Except they have made it political. By insisting lives AND livelihoods be protected.

When your house is burning down, you don’t run and get the garden hose, you save the baby & grandma.
That’s the ethical and moral choice. You can rebuild your house. You can not replace a child or grandma. Lives are the priority, not property.

If this were a natural disaster like a flood. You don’t abandon people grasping onto trees to save the local restaurant.

Trump is desperate to hold on to power. The US Senate is as well. So many of them are implicated in corrupt activities and cover ups for Trump.

Will Republicans cave and do what Trump/Stone are demanding?
Only the Republicans know that answer. But it’s a likely possibility.

Criminals backed into a corner will do whatever it takes to escape justice.

That sigh of relief you felt when Biden finally got the approval to transfer power is fleeting and illusory.
To avoid burnout, stop celebrating and relaxing every time Biden wins a battle. It’s the war that needs to be won, not any individual battle. Every small victory is great. It’s one step closer to Biden in the White House and stability.

But we still stand on shaky ground.

The diabolical plan revealed by MLA Luan is in character with paleolibertarian ideology.

That is who is at the helm in Alberta.

Radical extremist far right religious zealots who are dedicated to their adherence to ideological policy choices.
In a purely cost benefit analysis, it’s cheaper to allow the population to live with COVid than it is to mitigate the transmission of the disease.

When loss is expected, the least expensive loss is preferred.
How much has been spent on COVid strategies in Alberta compared to other Canadian provinces?

On a balance sheet, Alberta has “wasted” less capital than other provinces. And preserved the viability of more corporations.

As Mr. Luan back peddles furiously from his diabolical statements made on Friday that seem very consistent with official Alberta UCP policy, I found Austrian economics opinions that spell out the UCP’s current stance on COVid mitigation (i.e. Procrastinating until crisis).
Here is a 2012 recorded response of the question: “Does government regulation crowd out private responsibility?”

Kenney & many UCP ministers have repeatedly identified personal responsibility.

The far right adamantly supports liberty, not regulation.

Mises Institute is where UCP members and supporters go to find & validate their ideology.

This speech is laden with theocratic overtones & the belief that it’s better to let people decide themselves, where they can make a personal risk assessment. Therefore no mandates needed.

Premiers of Provinces have the responsibility and purview for the majority of healthcare. Premiers & fed opposition blocked national coordination. Premiers refused to spend the Fed aid and implemented a herd immunity strategy. Canada is descending into chaos.
@erinotoole CPC and NDP blocked a federal emergency from being invoked.

This result is all on premiers. Hey aren’t most of them far right conservative?

Then cons and NDP started a fake scandal to distract public from attending to COVid opening safety. Great move.
