3/5. A lot of Bhagat Singh’s journalism appeared in Kirti, Pratap, Vir Arjun, Milap and Akali. Much that he wrote under pseudonyms is lost to us. At age 17, he translated the revolutionary Dan Breen’s book ‘My Fight for Irish Freedom’ from English into Hindi

1/5. पंतप्रधान मोदी वारंवार सांगतायत अ) ते किमान हमीभाव संपुष्टात येऊ देणार नाहीत आणि ब) २०२२ पर्यंत शेतकऱ्यांचं उत्पन्न ते दुप्पट करतील. उत्तम. मग ही हमी देणारं ५ मुद्द्यांचं विधेयक ते का आणत नाहीत? आधीसारखा विरोध न होता ते विधेयक बिनविरोध पारित होईल.

2/5. या विधेयकात - किमान हमीभावाची (स्वामीनाथन सूत्राप्रमाणे – ज्याचं वचन भाजपने २०१४ साली दिलंय) हमी असेल. कोणताही बडा व्यापारी, कंपनी किंवा ‘नव ग्राहक’ हमीभावाहून कमी किंमतीत शेतमाल उचलणार नाही. तसंच खरेदीची हमी असेल, जेणेकरून हमीभावाची थट्टा होणार नाही.

3/5. आणि, हे विधेयक शेतकरी आणि शेतमजुरांवरचं कर्ज रद्द करेल. कर्जाचा बोजा असताना त्यांचं उत्पन्न २०२२ काय, २०३२ मध्येही दुप्पट होणं शक्य नाही. किमान हमीभाव व शेतकऱ्यांचं उत्पन्न दुप्पट करणं पंतप्रधानांचं स्वतःचं वचन असताना विरोध कोण करेल?

१/५. PM मोदीजी ने आश्वासन दिया है के १) वे MSP को कभी लुप्त नहीं होने देंगे २) वे किसानों की कमाई २०२२ तक दुगनी कर देंगे। बहुत अच्छी बात है. इन आश्वासनों को एक बिल के द्वारा निश्चित करने से उन्हें किसने रोका है? बाकि ३ बिलों से विपरीत, यह बिल बिना विरोध पास होगा #FarmBill2020

२/५. बिल का आशय होगा: MSP (स्वामीनाथन फॉर्मूला, जिसका भाजपा ने २०१४ में वादा किया था) की गारंटी. बड़े व्यापारी, कंपनियां या कोई 'नए खरीदार' MSP से कम दाम में माल नहीं खरीद सकेंगे. और एक बात - मुख्तारी की गारंटी हो ताके MSP एक मज़ाक ना बन जाये #FarmBill2020

३/५. अंतिम बात - बिल किसानों के कर्ज को खारिज कर दे. उसके बिना किसानो की कमाई २०२२ या २०३२ तक भी दुगनी नहीं हो सकती, जब किसान कर्ज में डुबे हों. जब MSP और दुगनी कमाई PM की अपना वादा हो, तो उस बिल का कौन विरोध करेगा? #FarmBill2020

1/5. PM Modi has repeatedly told us that a) he will never allow MSP to die and b) he will double farmers incomes by 2022. Great. So what stops him from moving a 5 paragraph Bill cementing those assurances? Unlike the earlier 3, this Bill would pass unanimously.

2/5. The Bill would say: MSP (Swaminathan formula, as the BJP promised in 2014) stands guaranteed. No big traders, corporations or other ‘new buyers’ can lift produce at below MSP. Also, guarantee procurement to ensure that MSP is not reduced to a mockery.

3/5. Lastly, the Bill would declare cancellation of farmer debt. There’s no way their incomes will double by 2022 or even 2032, while they are drowning in debt. With MSP and doubling of incomes being the PM’s own promises, who'd oppose such a Bill?
