Big Tech, especially Google & Facebook, are now equal partners in this game on the psychological/behavioral shaping front. If only you knew how the lawlessness that these companies seek and operate in, has a natural elective affinity with the State's aims. A thread on this soon.

Anyone who knows the basic principles of ML, AI etc knows that the more data it eats, the more efficient it becomes in attaining a goal/objective. Every single bit of data that's captured, extracted and analysed makes the engine more efficient. U provide the data - your behavior.

In that world, there's no waste, no production exhaust. Every single unit of your behavior,identity,habits,demographics, psychographics, what you shop for, your emails, your texts, your SM comments....everything is being neatly captured, and used for future behavioral predictions

As a crude analogy, imagine an excel sheet. The rows being individuals. The columns indicating 1000s of parameters [behavioral/social/political/personal/banking/shopping/phone/images/vacations/demographics/psychographics], many more than I can list down here. Your entire life.

Now, imagine I ask you to extract clusters of individuals that fit a certain profile as determined by parameters I specify. Whoa! Goldmine. Now these clusters are saleable to different companies/political parties etc etc. They will not sell the personal data, they sell clusters.

Basically,your life is being sold to others,albeit w/o personal details being leaked. [small pvt players do that, Big Tech is more careful]. By letter of law, your privacy is hence "safeguarded". Or perhaps not.

Till I return to this thread, reflect a bit on that excel sheet analogy somewhere above. It is the easiest way to understand how you who is a mere object is being sliced into your constituent parts. Each part is a behavioral indicator. Visualise a billion rows and 50,000 columns.

As a final point today, think why they are so desperate for Identity Numbers etc. that must be used for every transaction - social, commercial, electoral, travel etc.
[If multiple, then inter-linked]. Something that acts as a marker - marker defines unique row, and YOU are THAT.

They will fool you by using jargons that you won't understand. To debunk your claims. So keep it simple - because it is actually simple. Complex with many layers and tech pieces yet simple in terms of logic and construct. Don't let them dazzle and mislead you with jargons.

The 6 declarations on basis of which you are being digitally stripped naked by Google, FB, MS etc. As also by the ISPs and telecom companies.

The purpose of the extraction [and then analytic and predictive] architecture is only one : capturing behavior surplus. You would hate a strip search, wouldn't you? Hate it if a stranger peeped into your bedroom? All this while you are being digitally stripped naked by Big Tech.

4-step process :
▪️Incursion - u resist but they wear you down
▪️Habituation - u resign to the intrusion
▪️Adaptation - u adapt to the supply chain through which behavioral surplus is flowing back to them
▪️Redirection - your behavior redirected gradually in intended direction

The State and Big Tech - in a carnal embrace, nay coitus. While you get screwed!

The "bugs" that are identified, are in most cases not "bugs" but are there by design for a purpose. There have been multiple litigations around this. Imagine the number of by design "bugs" that are out there - deconstructing you, the object, into its constituent behavioral parts.
