Japanese scientists are flocking to China at latter's ardent invitation. In China, foreign experts are treated as semi-gods & are paid handsomely. Japanese professors love diligent Chinese students. Presently US

2/ is not giving any visas to Chinese STEM students. Without Chinese tuition and students, many STEM faculty will lose their jobs. Also Chinese students are not going to Australia given the country has turned so toxic and anti-China. Aussie faculty jobs are threatened as well.
3/ Not a problem. All the surplus Western STEM professors, instead of rotting at home with unemployment and depression, should all go teach in China and contribute to China's non-stoppable tech rise. I've heard that there're a lot of psychological problems among faculty now
4/even in Harvard due to uncertainty of job prospects. Best students are in China! Japanese scientists who can't find a job in Japan turned to China as their eldorado. Why not follow suit?

The declarations of Pfizer and Modena about their vaccines are for the least worrisome. They both declare the effectiveness of their vaccines to be 95%. That's an extremely unusual figure regarding vaccines. For WHO, if the
