Do you remember the time you bought an expensive piece of technology or even ordered something on amazon that you thought you would use but you didn't
Every time you look at it, it gives you a death stare and you promise to use it but you don't end up using it
I remember you Go Pro Hero 7 Black for Rs.30000 ( I cry every time I look at the price)
It gives me guilt trips everytime I see it for not using it enough.
Now a Kindle is a decently big investment for reading.
The best/worst part is that it will help/force you to read Books.
Most of us want to read books and we order a paperback on amazon and it ends up in your drawer.
My kindle is now my best friend (yes I don't have any in real life, so I make friends with technology)
Apart from giving you guilt trips and death stares, the Kindle screen is good for your eyes. I couldn't get through 4-5 pages because of my bad attention span and the straining iPad screen.
The kindle has helped me get rid of one problem with its pretty good screen.
It's also pretty good at storing millions of books for very cheap or free.
Its portable, tiny,blah blah blah
My one advice: Buy it for the guilt trips

Difference between Status driven & Wealth driven games 💸👨🏻💼
a thread🧵
Status driven games are where everyone is each others enemy and whoever at the top is being targeted by the people at the bottom.
Wealth driven games are where everyone wins and doesn't care about how much their colleague makes. They all want to create more wealth and prosperity
The biggest test for a status-driven person is when a person below him in the hierarchy insults him or in the broader sense pulls him down. The person at the top fights at the bottom and it's a constant fight.
Why Time(&Hope) was created as a hedge against uncertainty⏰🙏🏻
a thread🧵
DISCLAIMER
This is a very opinionated thread and not from a science perspective. It is what I think about it. I can(& probably am) be 101% wrong. I am just materializing what I have thought.
Most of things we do in life is indirectly a hedge against uncertainty. Uncertainty is our biggest fear and surrendering to uncertainty is something we don't do.
While this is only a conspiracy theory it's pretty plausible a concept that originated 100 years and some say that the beauty industry came together to make Shampoo a necessity & essential product to earn more money.
While this is only a conspiracy theory its pretty plausible
Lets talk facts!
Shampoo strips the sebum i.e the natural oils your scalp produces which in turn tells your head to produce more oils.
By over washing, you remove hair's natural conditioning and send the oil glands into a frenzy to replenish what was lost.
