15 new cases of COVID-19 announced in Nova Scotia today (Friday, Dec. 4). 11 are in the Central Zone, including the case connected to Citadel High reported yesterday 1/
3 are in the Northern Zone and are close contacts of previously reported cases. The other case is in Western Zone and is related to travel outside of Atlantic Canada. 2/
There are now 117 known active cases in the province. No one is in hospital with the disease. 3/
1,623 were conducted at Nova Scotia Health's labs yesterday, so a positivity rate of about 0.9%. 4/
But, re testing, the Dept. of Health is changing its reporting, as follows:
This does not seem helpful. But I'l think on that.
The release does not mention testing at the rapid pop-up testing sites. I don't know why.
