This is exactly what @jordanbpeterson addresses when he talks about "the call to adventure" and "fighting off dragons." and the entire elite class has opted ignore him, laugh, and hand the culture to people who want to 'deconstruct masculinity" in the name of "social Justice."
2/
Then, when in the most predictable way possible it goes wrong in all the ways you might expect it to, people laugh, antagonize, mock and pile on.

They laugh, make fun, point fingers, and then put fourth a buffet of things that don't work. They offer no compelling answers...
3/
Stating "personal responsibility" while still continuing to advocate a combination of crass libertarianism and zombie Reaganism that leaves people without a direction or any sort of guidance is going to fail, and it is going to be laughed at.

No one cares.
4/
You need to give people a vision. But no one in the conservative movement has been able to do that. So, @DavidAFrench style conservatism is dead. It is never coming back. It is never coming back because it has no vision, it is uninspiring, and it has no cultural cache...
5/
@jordanbpeterson did a series of 17 lectures on the book of Genesis, the average length of each lecture is 3 hours...and they have MILLIONS of views.

He makes those stories relevant. Millions of people are learning about the Bible from Jordan Peterson...
6/
Meanwhile the only thing that the conservative movement offers is shame and condemnation of male failures. they offer no vision, no mentor-ship, no direction, and no role models.

We shame our men for failure, we NEVER train them.

What did you all expect to happen?
7/
So now, the obscure pyschologist that got discovered cause he refused to bend the knee to the leftist activist mobs is going to set the future of conservatism.
Ask @KyleKashuv or @SpencerKlavan or any other young conservative man about Peterson's influence. They'll tell you...
8/
@jordanbpeterson has more cache with *conservative* men under 30 then all other members of the GOP *COMBINED.*

You can take all the rock-stars, pop-stars, movie-stars and athletes you want, none of them have the cultural currency with conservative men that Jordan Peterson has
9/
Because the conservative movement dedicated no resources to artists and creatives, and dedicated all their resources to creating lawyers, they have been replaced.

It really is that simple. "where there is no vision the people perish." And Zombie Reaganism has no vision.
10/
And for that reason they have been replaced. By what? We shall see, but I promise you it will be formulated and influence by all the young men who are following Jordan Peterson.

The GOP is about to be remade in the image of a Canadian Psychologist.
11/
This cake is baked and all the gatekeeping in the world won't be able to do a damn thing to stop it. It won't matter. *ALL* of your young men are taking on Peterson's injunctions.

So, better get working on that platform Republicans, because the era of Reaganism is over...

Imagine thinking a 5 year old is capable of understanding the consequences of "choosing" which sex they are.

Imagine everyone in that kids life affirming the decision of a 5 year old in a way reinforces the decision and shapes the child socially....
2/
Imagine social momentum created by the decision to "affirm" the child:
-their name changed
-pronouns are changed
-appearance is adjusted i cludong clothing choices, hair-style amd mannerisms.
-everyone who meets them is told they are their newly "chosen" gender...
3/
Pretty soon everyone who doesn't agree with the change is removed from the kids life "to protect them," and the parents become activists within the community with social media profile built around "being the parents of a trans kid."

They join local and online support groups

This is correct!
We must dismantle our electoral fragility if we want to engage in the work of being anti-fraud. A "fair" election is not enough, the election process must be anti-fraud.
Election processes that aren't anti-fraid are fraudulent.
The problem is that all elections are "rigged from the beginning" making them fraudulent. This fraud makes electoral equity impossible. If we want to ensure that votes are equitably distributed then it is not enough for elections to be fair, theu must be aggreively anti-fraud.
We must dismantle electoral systems which allow for an unequal distribution of votes among the candidates.
The notion that elections must have a "winner" who "takes office" is rooted in capitalist notions of competition and colonial notions of siezing power through sheer numbers

This perfectly illustrates how the woke operate.

In pic 1 @zaelefty says, correctly, that there's *2 SEXES* in most complex multicellular life.

@Hood_Biologist responds by saying there's 6 common and 4 rare *SEX KARYOTYPES*

*SEXES* on one hand *SEX KARYOTYPES* on the other ImageImage
2/
Did you catch that?

@zaelefty makes a comment about *SEX* and @Hood_Biologist responds by making a claim about *SEX KARYOPTYPES*

@Hood_Biologist is using linguistic sleight-of-hand here, and I am going to show you how it works so you can spot it next time.
3/
I'll explain the difference between *sex* and *sex Karyoptypes* and then we'll see whats going on here.

Humans have reproductive cells, that is, the cells that are put to work in the process of reproducing. In Humans, there are two types of reproductive cell: Sperm and Eggs.

This is not true. The argument is not that it is ok to fire faculty for teaching Critical Race Theory. The argument is that if someone insists that ideas, policies, and concepts from critical race theory be used togovern the workplace you can get rid of them for the same...
2/
Reason you can get rid of an employee who insists the workplace be run in accordance with Christian values and continues to preach in the break room.

To wit, there is a difference between the university as educational space and the university as a workplace.

I can teach...
3/
That Christians are going to hell in my class...I can't insist on going after Christians in the break room and letting them have it whenever they appear, or harassingthem woth taunts in the line for lunch and menace them

This is what @ConceptualJames is talking about...

This Black Lives Matter protest happened in the middle of the pandemic and the woke/media/blue-check industrial complex cheered it on.
Now they want to close churches and shutdown thanksgiving.

I called for lockdowns in march and I'm infuriated.

A thread🧵
2/
In March I worked for a government in Canada that implemented testing, tracing, capcity limits on indoor gatherings, and social distancing.

These measures work and allowed us to re-open churches, synagogues, mosques, and small businesses back in *JULY*

We have stayed open.
3/
In light of a recent surge, the government mandated masks in public.

I support this.

As a result of these measures number of confirmed active cases is less than .1%.

Churches and synagogues contiue to *REMAIN OPEN* (with some limits on capacity)

So, why am I angry?

When Dr. Peterson's wife was diagnosed with cancer he was prescribed Benzodiazepines, a drug which can create dependancy in as little as 2-4 weeks. The widrawl symptoms associated with Benzodiazepines can be shockingly severe and can last for over a year.
2/
Getting off Benzodiazepines is an *ORDEAL* both because the withdrawl symptoms from Benzodiazepines can kill you, and because actually getting off them takes specialized medical planning to manage the withdrawl.
3/
Benzodiazepine dependancy and withdrawl are also particularly dangerous for older people and Jordan Peterson is 58. It's no surprise that it almost killed him.
