- DM accounts you have sth to offer.
- Join relevant FB groups and be helpful.
- Optimize your profiles (and website) so it's clear to people that they can hire you.
There are thousands of people who need you.
Go where they are.
7. Do a contest.
"Here are examples of my work.
Follow and RT this to be part of the contest where you can win a website draft from me."
You will get
- Big exposure
- Reference
- Potential clients hooked by your portfolio
Sweet.
P.S. Don't do $ contents (rules + bots).
8. Focus on a niche market.
If possible target a specific niche (e.g. Plumbers, Coffees, Building companies).
Rebrand your site according to the new niche.
Join the niche-relevant groups and provide value there.
I made all of them for you, so you can avoid them.
What are they? 1. Visual > Functionality 2. Starting with a landing page, not wireframes 3. Mobile second 4. Making the website just to have one 5. Making the website just for themselves.
1. Visual > Functionality
This is an obvious trap. And it's really self-explanatory.

This is the question I get a lot, how to make a recurring income as a web designer?
In other words: how to make a recurring income instead of one time sell.
Here are some of my most favorite ones.
1. Hosting and domain renewing
This one is the most straightforward one.
For the customers, it's usually painful to keep track of domain registration and hosting and if you offer them a maintenance fee they most probably won't refuse.
