... and significant loss of all household income as direct result of #COVID19 — sheltering in place for a month, which turned into lockdowns and virtual everything for almost a year now — when will this end?

3/ But, wear a (cloth) mask and you’ll be saved. Wear a mask and you’ll keep your neighbor alive. No indoor dining. No outdoor dining. And whatever you do, don’t even think about going to church. Most definitely do not stay out in public past 10pm.
4/ Apparently the rona knows how to tell time and prefers religious congregations and eating establishments but not big box stores. Totally prejudice, this virus. Yes, I’m being caddy, because Americans are suffering. Too many have lost their lives to this virus...
5/ and one life is to many. Sadly, too many people die each day of cancer and other despicable diseases. And car accidents. Are we banning cars. Have we banned the sales of cigarettes + tobacco? Do we require smokers to live in a bubble because they are contaminating our air?
6/ It is beyond sad what has happened to our country, to the world, the past 10+ months. My heart aches for all lives that have tragically been lost due to C19. And to all the suffering and loss experienced as direct result of “trying to keep us safe”. Families mourn...
7/ and families suffer and go without... losing their livelihoods. Small businesses have closed. Children’s education and mental health have declined. The healthy have suffered trying to keep the most vulnerable safe. But has everyone been sacrificing and suffering loss?
8/ I ask that question not as a comparison. We should never try to equate or compare suffering. But, there is a group who seem relatively unfazed throughout these times of such struggle... and it is our leaders, our elected officials. Not gods. Politicians.
9/ What May we ask of our elected peoples in positions of power? Perhaps they could give more of themselves. Perhaps they too could sacrifice their livelihoods... and go without. Perhaps they could consider foregoing some of their salaries and lavish lifestyles...
10/ to help their constituents during one of the most challenging of times, this most giving and loving season. Regardless of party lines, how wonderful would it be if our ‘great leaders’ reached out their hands to help as many as possible, who are suffering needlessly?
11/ Calking out to @SpeakerPelosi Sen Mitch McConnell and all elected officials in states/cities suffering the most @NYGovCuomo @BilldeBlasio @GavinNewsom @ericgarcetti — perhaps you could do without, as well... like your fellow Americans who are truly sacrificing...
12/ In the spirit of giving and caring and loving thy neighbor... pleads and prayer go out to those making decisions for our great country... please do all you can... do what is right for America and her people.
13/ release these ridiculous lockdowns. They clearly haven’t worked for the past 10mos. The majority of Americans wear masks. Masks are not working. ‘Miracle’ vaccines are coming. it’s time for small businesses open up. It’s beyond time for us to return to being a FREE SOCIETY!
