This was funny. A woman had driven by, and she was yelling at me from inside her car and I thought she was yelling “Shame, shame!” but it turns out she was yelling “Yay, yay!” ❤️

I’m too used to abuse on this corner, I guess. 😆

We start to talk about gender fluidity in children and medicalization of kids.

So the label he gives to himself is non-binary.

I think this is interesting in context of this whole conversation.

He’s worked with kids in daycare, as a T.A. (Teacher’s assistant), and as a tutor.

He’s worked with autistic kids as well, so I asked for his thoughts on why so many autistic kids have gender dysphoria.

We both agree children need to be treated on a case-by-case basis.

Blanket affirmation-only for children is leading to medical harm.
