To support remote work, plenty of new SaaS products have come to the party in 2020. The usual suspects highlighted by @G2dotcom in the collaboration/productivity category are not too surprising:
- Video conferencing
- Webinar
- VOIP,
and others.

Today, OKR-based SaaS, like @WorkboardInc, have been helping teams at @Microsoft @IBM @Cisco @reliancegroup @comcast @Workday get aligned on objectives & drive results faster
The shift to remote has raised the collaboration/productivity game for teams on the quest for operational efficiency, business continuity, enterprise agility & most importantly, results.

I believe that's the reason for the uptick in OKR SaaS adoption in the enterprise.
OKRs mainly help teams to:
✅ Strategically align on objectives
✅ Accelerate results

& also:
☑️ Provide clarity on work o̶u̶t̶p̶u̶t̶s̶ outcomes
☑️ Increase accountability + transparency
☑️ Improve agility + employee engagement

OKRs enable productivity without proximity.
#StrategicAlignment can very well become a competitive advantage / moat for a company.

I feel this is where #OKR SaaS trumps #ProjectManagement SaaS.

The latter "did the job" of raising accountability in teams, but it did not align strategic objectives & key resuts.
Well-known SaaS like @asana @Jira @Workfront have added OKR capabilities to their products to drive #StrategicAlignment.

Workfront was in fact acquired by @Adobe recently for $1.5B to bolster their MarTech Operations offerings.

#StrategicAlignment has the potential to raise employee engagement by helping managers & their teams to build trust, develop empathy & give support to each other – which is most important in this #NewNormal.

If you are a manager, I'd invite you to learn more about OKRs & explore how they can drive #StrategicAlignment for your org.

If you are an OKR software vendor, I'd encourage you to double down on reaching customers who would need your solutions to get to #StrategicAlignment.

Plenty of teams out there who need your technology today, especially for #remotework.

Few ideas for #OKR SaaS vendors to win in the marketplace:

1/ Differentiate from the many Project Mgmt, HR Mgmt, Performance SaaS out there
2/ Demonstrate the economic value of #StrategicAlignment for the enterprise
3/ Nurture a product champion(s) at the customer org
4/ Position the product as an "ROI/Investment center" that fits well financially with the existing stack
5/ Grow utilization of existing implementations
6/ Co-sell/GTM with complementary products
