Sources : One Anil Kumar Ojha, who claims to be an entrepreneur is issuing colour advertisements in English and Tamil dailies about the launch of his new political party “My India Party”. Advertisements are also appearing in all major Tamil News channels like 1/n

Puthiya Thalaimurai, Thanthi, Polimer, etc.

The slogan in the advertisement claims in another 5 years, he will make Tamil Nadu “Tax Free” state. Even if he becomes CM by winning in the elections, how he can deliver this promise is a mystery. 2/n

The advertisement also says, “Enough of being cheated”. This could only be targeted on the two Dravidian parties, similar to the slogan of Rajinikanth, Kamal, BJP, Naam Tamilar. 3/n

This Anil Kumar Ojha is the Director in the following firms. 1) SLO Steels Limited, 2) Shri Mahalakshmi Metal and Scrap Processing Private Limited, 3) SLO Steel Industries Limited, 4) S.L.O Industries Limited (full stop is the difference between Sl. No. 3 & 4)

A cursory reading of the name of these firms will show he is a fraudster & crook.

In September 2018, the Bengaluru BS&FC Branch of CBI, registered a case 5/n

against this Anil Kumar Ojha’s SLO Steel Industries and Aran Steels Limited for defrauding the Corporation Bank to the tune of 284.66 crores. The FIR filed against the “Tax Free Anil Kumar Ojha” reads as follows : 6/n

Loan amounts were round tripped wherein letter of credit (LC) beneficiary parties transferred funds similar to LC amount into borrower’s bank accounts to close the previous outstanding of letter of credit. The loan amounts have been invested in real estate business. 7/n

SLO Industries, which has been enjoying credit facilities since 2003, has not provided provisional or audited financial statements for financial year 2015-16 and estimates for next two years. The company also did not allow the bank to access its books of accounts. 8/n

By diverting the transactions to various banks such as City Union Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI Bank, the company prevented Corporation Bank from knowing its strengths and weaknesses. 9/n

The accounts of SLO Industries has been classified as fraud on March 9, 2018 following which a complaint was registered with CBI last month. The agency has booked directors Anil Kumar Ojha, Arun Sharma, Ashok Kumar Sharma of SLO Industries and Aran Steels. 10/n

On 7 October 2020, the Enforcement Directorate attached 74 immovable properties & 8 vehicles valuing 82.83 crores under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002.

Now, this Anil Kumar Ojha, who is an accused in CBI and ED, is launching his My India Party today, at Prasad Studios, Saligramam, Chennai. 12/n

He says his party’s motto is “Prosperous, Safe, Healthy, Empowered, Greener and Corruption free Tamil Nadu State”.
