Sources : The founder of My India Party, Anil Kumar Ojha, while launching his party today, claimed that the cases filed against him are false and that the bank officials had demanded bribe and since he did not pay, had filed a false complaint against him. 1/n

He has been running the following firms 1) SLO Steels Limited, 2) Shri Mahalakshmi Metal and Scrap Processing Private Limited, 3) SLO Steel Industries Limited, 4) S.L.O Industries Limited (full stop is the difference between Sl. No. 3 & 4) 5) SLO Buildcon Private Limited, 2/n

6) Aran Steels Limited, 7) SLO India Limited.

For all his above mentioned companies he had accounts separately in City Union Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI bank, State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur and HDFC Bank. He used these accounts to circulate and reroute the money 3/n

he borrowed from Corporation Bank and siphoned off the money to the tune of 284 crores.

Using the money he borrowed from Corporation Bank, he purchased 3 luxury cars alleges the complaint of Corporation Bank. When the Corporation Bank officials asked him to 4/n

produce the book of accounts, he conveniently replied that he doesn’t have any account books as all were seized by the Central Excise authorities when he was raided by them.

Apart from being an accused in CBI and ED, he is also under probe by the Central Excise department. 5/n

His residences and offices were searched by the Central Excise authorities on 8.3.2016.

Following this search, The Principal Commissioner of Customs, Special Intelligence and Investigation Branch (SIIB), Chennai, issued show cause notice, dated 22.08.2016, 6/n

Anil Kumar Ojha and a recovery proceedings has been initiated against the firm SLO Industries of Ojha and the same is pending before the Company Law Tribunal at Chennai. 7/n

Corporation Bank has also initiated recovery proceedings against the said Anil Kumar Ojha in the Chennai, Debt Recovery Tribunal.I under the SARFESI Act which was challenged by him in the Madras High Court. 8/n

However, the Court dismissed his petition and ordered Anil Kumar Ojha to pay 57 crores in two equal instalments 4 months.

In an another case Ojha filed in the Madras HC, he sought a direction to the Corporation Bank to enhance h is credit limit. 9/n

However, he did not pursue this case further and the court dismissed the petition with the following observations :

“By order dated 24.08.2018, the Registry was directed to send drafted notice to the petitioner. 10/n

Pursuant to the same, the Registry sent a drafted notice to the petitioner. However, the drafted notice sent to the petitioner returned with an endorsement “vacated”. Hence, this Court directed the Registry to print the name of the petitioner. 11/n

Accordingly, when the petitions were taken up on 29.11.2018, the name of the petitioner was shown in the cause list, however, none appeared for the petitioner on that date. Therefore, this Court directed the Registry to list the petitions under the caption 'for dismissal' 12/n

on 04.12.2018, i.e., today.
Today also, though the name of the petitioner is printed in the cause list, none appears for the petitioner. Hence, this Court has other option except to dismiss the writ petitions for non-prosecution.” 12/n

This Anil Kumar Ojha is an out and out scamster / conman and his full time job is to cheat banks and siphon of the money.

Now, to escape from the multiple cases he is facing, he has agreed to the proposal of BJP to act as a vote splitter by promising “corruption free” government in Tamil Nadu. 14/14
