@Hadithoftheday Once.
Hajj is obligatory once in a lifetime for whoever is capable.

Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, Performance of Hajj is once and anything more than that is a voluntary act (of worship).”
@Hadithoftheday Allah Says in Qur'an:
And [due] to Allah from the people is a pilgrimage to the House - for whoever is able to find thereto a way."
(Qur'an: Aal-i-Imraan 3: Verse 97)
@Hadithoftheday With regard to what is obligatory, Hajj is only required once in a lifetime
Narrated Ibn Abbaas that al-Aqra asked the Prophet ﷺ: “O Messenger of Allah, is Hajj every year or just once?” He said:It is only once, and whoever does more than that, it is a voluntary (act of worship)
@Hadithoftheday There are conditions of Hajj being obligatory, which, if they are met, make it obligatory for a person to perform Hajj, and without them Hajj is not obligatory.
They are:
1.Being Muslim,
2.Being of sound mind,
3.Being an adult,
4.Being free and
5.Being able to do it.
@Hadithoftheday 1.Being Muslim :

This applies to all acts of worship, because worship done by a disbeliever is not valid.
@Hadithoftheday 2 and 3 – being of sound mind and being an adult :

The Prophet ﷺ said: “The pen is lifted from three [and does not record their deeds]: from one who is sleeping, until he wakes up; from a child until he reaches puberty, and from one who is insane until he comes to his senses.”+
@Hadithoftheday Thus a child is not obliged to perform Hajj, but if his parents take him for Hajj, his Hajj is valid; the child will have the reward of Hajj & his parents will also have a reward, because when a woman lifted up a child and asked, “Is there Hajj for this one?” Prophet ﷺ said:Yes
@Hadithoftheday 4.Being free :
Hajj is not obligatory for a slave, because he is distracted by his duties towards his master
@Hadithoftheday 5.Being able to do it:

Allah says in Qur'an:

“And Hajj (pilgrimage to Makkah) to the House (Ka‘bah) is a duty that mankind owes to Allah, those who can afford the expenses (for one’s conveyance, provision and residence)”
@Hadithoftheday This includes being able both physically and financially.
Being physically able is that one is sound in body & can bear the hardship of travelling to the sacred House of Allah
Being financially able means that one has enough funds to get to the sacred House of Allah & back again

@Hadithoftheday Staff/Stick (A'asah)
Allah says in Qur'an:
"Then We inspired to Musa, Strike with your staff the sea, and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain."
(Qur'an: Suraj Ash-Shu'araa 26: Verse 63)
@Hadithoftheday Allah further says in Qur'an:
"And We advanced thereto the pursuers.
And We saved Musa and those with him, all together.
Then We drowned the others.
Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers."
(Qur'an: 26:64-67)
@Hadithoftheday The pharaoh who ruled Egypt was a tyrant who oppressed the descendants of Musa A.S. He used every means to demean and disgrace them. They were kept in bondage and forced to work for him for small wages or nothing.+

@Hadithoftheday Surah Rahman - Chapter 55.
The ayah/verse is فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَان which means “Then which of the favours of your Lord will you deny"?
This ayah is repeated 31 times in Surah Al-Rahman.
It's most repeated verse of the glorious Qur'an.
@Hadithoftheday It is one of the most notable verses of the Quran.
The oft-repeated verse,
"So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?”, serves to remind us of our lack of gratitude towards Allah.
@Hadithoftheday Allah has given us life, loved ones, as well as many other comforts.

However, we often tend to take many of His Blessings for granted. As such, we rarely offer thanks to our Lord. +

@Hadithoftheday Ibraheem A.S.
Ibraheem A.S was such an honoured position as he was described as Khalil-ullah – the Friend of Allah (Qur’an 4:125).
Allah says in Qur'an:
And Allah took Ibraheem as an intimate friend."
(Qur'an. An-Nisaa 4: Verse 125)
@Hadithoftheday Many Qur’anic verses revealed concerning Ibraheem A.S suggest that his outstanding importance and high rank among prophets was because of the purity and sincerity of his relationship with his Lord, to whom he totally surrendered his will.
@Hadithoftheday The greatness of Ibrahim’s A.S standing with Allah is confirmed in a number of hadiths. The Prophet ﷺ referred to him as “the best of creation” (Muslim) and mentioned him as one of the prophets whose intercession the believers would seek on the Day of Judgement (Bukhari).

@Hadithoftheday Sayyidah Khadijah R.A
After first revelation, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was trembling with fear. Khadija R.A set out with Prophet ﷺ to her cousin "Waraqa bin Nawafil".He was a man of knowledge. After listening to Prophet ﷺ' s story, waraqa told them that Prophet ﷺ is last messenger
@Hadithoftheday After listening closely to story of Prophet ﷺ، Waraqa, who was both old and blind, exclaimed, “This is the same being who brought the revelations of Allah to Moses. I wish I was young and could be alive when your people will drive you out.”
@Hadithoftheday Around the fifteenth year of their marriage, towards the end of Ramadan, when Prophet ﷺ was forty and Khadijah R.A was fifty-five, Muhammad ﷺ suddenly appeared at their house in the middle of the night, trembling with fear and saying, “Cover me up, cover me up!” +
