The News endorsed would-be election thief Jack Bergman, calling him "a welcome voice of reason and responsibility."
Bill Huizenga wants to throw out Michigan's votes for president. He was endorsed by the Detroit News, and they claimed he "is willing to work with the other side of the aisle to find solutions."
No fake claims of bipartisanship for John Moolenaar - he was called "a keen representative" and praised "for his experience and fiscal responsibility." Nothing about stealing elections, either!
State Rep. Joe Bellino, who now thinks Michigan's election should be overturned because his guy lost, was endorsed for his support for "sensible tax policy and road repairs."
Starting to scrape the bottom of the barrel here... Rep. John C. Reilly was endorsed because he "ran a handyman business" and in the #MILeg "has championed Second Amendment rights." Not sure what any of that has to do with being a State Rep!
The final wannabe election thief endorsed by @DetNewsOpinion was Doug Wozniak. He earned their support because he "focuses on Medicaid and senior issues in the Legislature." Okay!

The brief signed by Michigan lawmakers alleges “more than 173,000 ballots in the Wayne County, MI center that cannot be tied to a registered voter.” Can anyone who signed it explain what this means?
Asking for @dananessel who wrote of this charge: “Michigan is at a loss to explain these allegations.”
So-called expert who leveled this claim doesn’t explain “a registration number for precincts” either - but even he doesn’t argue all of these ballots should be tossed, which is what Texas used his declaration to argue!
Rudy predictions:
-he'll call for paper ballots (MI uses paper ballots)
-he'll call for an audit (will already happen under MI Constitution)
-he'll tell #MILeg to steal the election (illegal under MI law)
-he'll say challengers were removed (dozens testified they were inside TCF)
Did not predict "no one will be able to see or hear anything because the feed is so terrible" but here we are

I'm going to thread my tweets on this morning's Senate Oversight Committee show hearing on the conspiracy theories from the TCF Center so folks can follow along or mute if you'd like. Hasn't started yet but you can follow along here if you'd like: misenate.viebit.com/player_live.ph…
Sen. McBroom starts off by calling Kent County "Clark County." This should be fun
McBroom announces that walking Twitter troll @pjcolbeck will be given an exception to the three minute testimony limit, for some reason
Lee is gaslighting: these were right-wing extremists motivated by animosity for the governor whipped up by Republican politicians and operatives. Let’s review:
Republicans started slamming the governor over the pandemic barely a week after the first positive test in MI.
Mike Shirkey in a floor speech as armed militia members looked down on the Senate chamber, 4/30/20: "If she does not recognize the end of the emergency declaration, we have no other choice but to act."
Mike Shirkey in an interview with @MIRSnews, 4/29/20: the governor "has made it clear for a number of weeks now that she's very comfortable being a dictator."
Mike Shirkey, hours after a plot to kidnap and murder the governor is exposed, 10/8/20: “This is no time to be weak in our commitment to freedom. We need to be strong, and not be afraid of those who are taking our freedoms away from us.”
