So. Now we have this problem of 126 GOP who were so brazen in their attempt to overthrow our government that everyone who's not on the red pill (the majority of us) that it's intolerable to think of them being involved in govt at all.
Technically any of them with license to practice law should be disbarred.

That they probably won't be completely throttles trust in the bar. What kind of law do they respect or regulate if the betrayal of the very system of govt under which they practice is tolerable?
They should be prosecuted for, at minimum, seditious conspiracy and probably several other charges (election fraud, conspiracy to overthrow the US Govt etc).

The fact that they probably won't be means they will forever be a threat to our Constitution - even if unseated.
It also throttles trust in our own laws and those we trust to uphold them bc we all know if a group of us tried to overthrow our govt we'd be shot or locked up for a very long time.
We've come to accept that the following are allowed within the palace but for us would mean prison -

- Treason
- Perjury
- Obstruction
- Espionage
- Lying
- Crimes Against Humanity
- Genocide
- etc etc
So sure -- Seditious Conspiracy too, why not -- our Constitution has been used like toilet paper by both parties for four years...

But at this level of betrayal, if we do not clean this up and respect the law, Democracy is over.
Because this shit show with using computers in elections (cannot be made secure period -- too many vectors into a black box), gerrymandering and other forms of voter suppression collectively undermine the one thing that cannot be corrupted w/o destroying democracy - the vote.
That will be viewed as subordinate to these other crimes -- that will stay at the back of the list until it is used to simply cheat every election to accomplish the seditious conspiracy.
So my point is, the poison needs to be cleansed from the body of government or that body rots, and we just witnessed some pretty foul stench.
I would hope at min these people are removed from their office via the 14th amendment, but it's unlikely the Senate will give their 2/3rds consent (bc they are rotten too -- the very reason we can't is bc we never do). Still, how could this not at least be done for the record?
Which gets back to me lecturing about being disciplined and being noisy. About putting up a struggle to see that even just the bare min of decency in law in preserved on record. Demanding it.
Also demanding that our propaganda loving media stop platforming these traitors.

At least...

When one considers the full text of the 14th amendment, it is MASSIVELY scoped - covers fed to state, civil or military . . .

From Giuliani to McEnany to faithless electors and anyone involved in this coup attempt would appear to be disqualified to serve in govt.

As far as I can see it would be effective immediately, and all would qualify for prosecution under 18 U.S. Code § 2384.Seditious conspiracy, a law that has been used as recently as 2010.

@HouseDemocrats & #DOJ are compelled to enforce 14A or Congress vote to allow them.

PS The reason I put this to House Dems rather than the Senate is because it requires a majority vote to 'forgive' these seditionists and most of our Senate majority is complicit (self pardons - no).

Characterizing Trump as "desperate", because it is so often qualified as "failing" or "struggling against the odds" is another way we underestimate him. There is little, if anything, to stop his theft of this election.
People cite his treatment of his own supporters as him 'taking everything out with him' when he's taken out of office. In fact he treats them that way because he's confident he's got his theft in the pocket and he's never cared about them.
This conclusion that he will not be held stopped can be easily extrapolated from the fact that it is only law that enforces elections and he has a crime list a mile long, including against children and babies, and nobody is stopping any of that.

Here's the thing about Trump that makes depending on a win/lose vote count that is not ethically sound.
2/

1) He was installed. He is not legitimate.

The case, as it stands, is missing vital pieces to be an open/shut deal.

a) But we know that his campaign was run by a man who had just thrown Ukraine's election.
3/

b) There are Russia ties EVERYWHERE in his campaign and his dealings since.

c) Every single state's election system were hacked by Russia. No evidence of tallies changed - yet no forensics run to prove they weren't.

March 2017 admin floats idea. Article says HHS declined to comment. Did they know then? Can't say. But they surely knew it was being discussed.
