A year on from the election, @AdamMcDonnell21 has looked at how the Conservatives are at real risk of losing voters to Labour for @timesredbox

(Based on a sample of over 16,000 British adults)

thetimes.co.uk/article/one-ye…
Labour is holding on to more of its 2019 voters (85%) than the Conservatives (82%). The Conservatives have lost 7% to the Brexit Party, and a further 6% to Labour

thetimes.co.uk/article/one-ye…
The Conservative vote share among Leavers has also fallen from 74% to 63%, with 17% now saying they would vote Labour

thetimes.co.uk/article/one-ye…
Perhaps the most striking change is between social grades.

At the election, the Conservatives led Labour 43% to 33% among the ABC1 group, but now Keir Starmer’s party is ahead by 41% to 35%

thetimes.co.uk/article/one-ye…
Age is also a factor. The Conservatives held a 47-point lead over Labour among those aged 65+ in 2019 - this lead has fallen to 35 points.

Labour has also improved its lead among the 18-24 group from 35 points to 42

thetimes.co.uk/article/one-ye…
The Conservative vote has also fallen with both genders

Whilst the Tories still narrowly lead among male voters (38% to 36%), Labour now leads among women voters (41% to 37%)

Where does the British public stand on transgender rights? Here’s a summary of the findings of our new research

Attitudes to trans rights are split by age, gender and politics…

yougov.co.uk/topics/politic…
Brits support trans people’s right to identify as they like (50% to 27%), though some do so without necessarily agreeing with those new labels. Brits do, however, think a doctor should still be required in the legal process of changing gender (63% to 16%) yougov.co.uk/topics/politic…
