2. Someone on the street alleges that another someone is acting like a kidnapper & without allowing those trained to sieve the truth, the accused were burnt alive. That it happened is horrible but that its seen as normal tells more about who we are than we want to admit.
3. This accusation could have been anyone, irrespective of your standing in the society, caught in the wrong place, you are gone. In 2016 a man had a broken down car & wanted help but was wrongly labelled as BH & killed. Well he turned out to be an eminent Prof with ABU Zaria.
4. Two women out of 200+ million people looks ''nothing' but calculate similar cases around the country weekly, then multiply it by their grieved family & friends who through that one horrible act, looses faith in the system. Then the base is set for lawlessness & bloody crimes.
5. Govt must make it clear through enforcement that these acts are not acceptable whatsoever the circumstance through identifying & punishing culprits. What's more, social media videos makes it possible to know who did what. People have lost enough faith in the law,let's act now
