"Thus far, the rest of the Monterey County press corps has declined to take on this topic, partly because of tensions between the local media and Schneider while he was running Bernal’s successful sheriff’s campaign in 2014" voicesofmontereybay.org/2020/12/12/sta…

If anyone would be holding a grudge against Schneider it shouldn't be *what's left of* local print journalists, *they* weren't threatened by rogue cops - with death. Schneider didn't threaten to kill anyone, he's a campaign consultant. He behaves exactly like Plasha Will
3/
without all of Plasha Will's lawbreaking. (Believe me if I had found something juicy about CS when he ran Bernal's 2012-2014 campaign, I would have yelled about it from a variety of marketing platforms)
What Schneider is doing in filing 11-12 @CA_FPPC community complaints -

directed at KNOWN offenders of campaign money laundering, bribery, illegal coordination between committees and Plasha Will's role in all of it is a public benefit.
less to do with a bunch of over sensitive simps (to use a modern dig) and more to do with how compromised the Monterey County Weekly is (because of their editor and managing editors relationship with some criminals) and the weakness of the people running our once great daily

newspapers - who are not breaking any news these days and are failing to report on issues of significant community, local, regional and international importance.
Why international importance?
The Panetta's and the crime clock that is ticking.
... State Senator, and corrupt politician, @CASenCaballero was hand delivered a non-profit when she was Mayor of Salinas. Caballero needed to make a little bread so other, more powerful politicians hooked up "Partners for Peace" to pay her $100,000 per year for three years using
a pass through million dollar grant from the @juliepackard family foundation. $1,000,000. For Violence and Injury Prevention after an Oakland study of the same name was ordered up and paid for by?
"The federal government has lagged behind as states like California continue to modernize how we regulate and decriminalize cannabis," said Congressman Panetta.
Jimmy Panetta's consultant, Plasha Will, is written into a sub-lease agreement that her firm, PFW Consulting and Dave Potter's, Potter Consulting, must be retained for marijuana advising when anyone sub-leases from Mike Bitar.
The guy on the far left is Bitar:
3/
Does that seem like clean, ethical conduct, closely linked to a United States Congressman who has also taken things of value from Bitar's associated group, Grupo Flor.? Who rents office space in #Salinas from Mike Bitar.
someone who calls the @SalinasPD "my police". She received over $10,000 from the police union and $30,000 from the dead fmr. Mayor's political account. He dropped dead suddenly but his political account still gave the winner, @kimbleycraig, money. Craig won by losing

64% of the vote. She revived a 1,500
+\- vote difference from the next highest vote getter.
The speaker in support of Craig is the fmr. Salinas Police Chief.
was about how Nancy was mad at certain members for taking a free flight aboard a mil transport jet to hang out in Paris (on business). Farr and his guest thought it was HILARIOUS that Nancy was pissed off about the "optics".
They also thought it was cute that when Nancy

called everyone on a speaker call (think Zoom pre-pandemic but non-video) many of them were in Aspen (giggles giggles) "but we didn't dare tell Nancy that because she was already worried about what the [American people] would think".
"Schneider has filed a series of complaints with the Sheriff’s Office, the Monterey County District Attorney’s Office, the state Fair Political Practices Commission. For the most part, the Sheriff’s Office and the DA’s Office have ignored him" voicesofmontereybay.org/2020/06/14/on-…

"Let’s go back to the FBI. Monterey County Weekly reporter Mary Duan broke the news last year that the FBI had questioned another campaign manager about reports of cash possibly floating between local campaigns."
The guy on the far right is Dave Drew a retired cocaine trafficker who @JerryBrownGov #pardoned in 2018.
The two to Dave’s left are now deceased #Salinas Mayor Joe Gunter and Gary Edwards. Both retired @SalinasPD, both continued performing background checks for the dept.

Now, see that guy circled in red? That is Mike Bitar a “founder” of Grupo Flor and payer to @RepJimmyPanetta’s political consultant Plasha Will, as well as donor to Jimmy Panetta himself.
Bitar is living in Carmel but his house in Salinas is in foreclosure.
3/
Bitar’s prior claim to fame was his ownership of a local fast food hot dog joint where he defrauded the workers compensation system and was charged by then DA Dean Flippo for his crimes. Bitar lost his real estate license over that issue, and many others, because he was also
