And we're standing here
Only because You made a way
And we're standing here
Only because You made a way
You made a way
You made a way
You made a way
You made a way
Don't know how but You did it
Made a way
Don't know how but You did it
Made a way
Don't know how but You did it
Don't know how but You did it
Don't know how but You did it
Don't know how but You did it
Don't know how but You did it
Cause You move mountains
You move mountains
You move mountains
You move mountains
And You cause walls to fall
You cause walls to fall
You cause walls to fall
You cause walls to fall
And You cause chains to break
You cause chains to break
You cause chains to break
You cause chains to break
And giants fall
Giants fall
Giants fall
Giants fall
Mountains are moving
Mountains are moving
Mountains are moving
Mountains are moving
Strong holds are breaking now
Strong holds are breaking now
Strong holds are breaking
Strong holds are breaking
'Cause you move mountain
You cause walls to fall
As a Believer, one of the greatest tests of my life is granting real forgiveness to all those who because of Politics twisted my deep agony and agitation for rescue of ChibokGirls into all forms of wicked accusations I have had to bear since 2014. And yet I must.
In this 2018 tweet, I was recounting how the @BBCAfrica handle broke the news of the abduction of ChibokGirls on the 15th and my immediate reaction was to ask them if the news was βverifiedβ.
I mean, it was hard to imagine hundreds of schoolchildren being abducted. It was hard.
My follow-on tweet after asking @BBCAfrica if their breaking news on the abduction was verified is captured below. It sank in my mind that it was BBC News and that by the quality control standards, it was near impossible to break unverified news. Ah. My eyes rolled down tears.
.@MBuhari and those aiding him to avoid the truth of his collosal failure to lead this country well at this time, are doing themselves the worst damage.
Is the short term gain of continuing to preside over a collapsing country really worth it?
It is unnatural for a leader of a country and people to be as unperturbed like @MBuhari obviously appears in the face of the tragedies that daily befall citizens.
It is abnormal.
Hence my call for an independent medical evaluation of the state of his mind and body immediately.
I have no doubt in my mind that my call for independent medical evaluation of our President, @MBuhari is the best thing for him and the country.
Further delays do neither the President nor this country and our people any good at all.
Was it not in this country that rising to take a strong stand that young women who went to school and were abducted deserved the justice of rescue by their @NGRPresident and @NigeriaGov , earned one attacks, falsehoods, impugning, arrest and detention? Itβs their way. Just stand!
They lied to you that reason I, your fellow citizen was determined for #JusticeOfRescue to be given abducted children is βshe wants to be ministerβ, βsheβs looking for attentionβ, βshe was hired as a consultant to embarrass xyz β, β she is angry at xyzβ.
You foolishly believed.
The total lack of cognitive ability or unwillingness to connect-the-dots and see through all the lies that the two administrations of the @NigeriaGov and their allies have hurled at your fellow citizens for daring to #SpeakUp for #ChibokGirls will remain a wonder to me. Na waa.
While other nations are trying to figure out their Post-COVID19 priorities and strategies, what do you think our own country is doing?
Well, @MBuhari is busy with repressive acts against his young citizens who merely asked to be allowed to live by the @PoliceNG he supervises.ππΎ
We are a constitutional democracy and actions must be anchored on the Rule of Law.
Miss Odeleβs passport cannot be seized by NAIA Comptroller of Immigration on the βorderβ of @HQNigerianArmy without an Order granted by a court of the land.
We are not a military state, @MBuhari .
Iβm grateful to Femi Falana, SAN for always being available to take on cases of gross injustice against our citizens.
Miss Modupe Odele @Mochievous is not standing alone. Millions of sensible Nigerians are standing with her.
She and her peers gave Hope on what Nigeria could be.
Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
Jeremiah 1:4-5
Then said I, Ah, Lord God! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child. But the Lord said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.
Jeremiah 1:6-7
I know who goes before me
I know who stands behind
The God of angel armies
Is always by my side
The one who reigns forever
He is a friend of mine
The God of angel armies
Is always by my side.
