Thread: Where did “Make America Great Again” come from? Yes we know Reagan used it. But do you think it came from Trump?
It came from the Council of National Policy. I’ve mentioned them in my threads before. But who are they. What do they want? They represent white Protestant
property owners. They dreamed of restoring a nineteenth century patriarchy that limited the civil rights of women, minorities, immigrants, with no tax to vex the rich and no safety net to aid the poor. They believe they only have until 2031 to achieve this. They are
already are way above the game. They own thousands of radio stations all over the country spewing this to listeners. They had to up their game after Obama legalized gay marriage. MSM are not combatting this as they have to put profits first, particularly after the collapse of
so many news outlets in the early 2000’s.
This movement is supported by the ultra wealthy. They are selling a harsh combination of plutocracy and theocracy and it is getting them out to vote. They talk of the dangers of science and moral decay. It has extended its reach to
Fox News operations and grown to include fundamentalist television broadcasting, digital platforms, book publishing and feature-film production. It has a powerful impact, it describes the mass shooting on October 1, 2017, as “Satan’s work” so is immune to legislation. They talk
of moral decay, but they are hugely immoral because of their amorality. It has created a parallel universe that has been devastating to American democracy. This is a fight. I’m talking we must up our game to counteract it. For me, this is an arms race to 2031 because if they
win. We will have a theocracy run completely by plutocrats. They are so powerful that they believe they are above the law. Legal issues are not put through the courts that they must attend, they are sent straight to the Supreme Court and they are dismissed. Since 1981 this has
been happening. We are 39 years behind and have only 10 years to rectify. They have spent these years building party machines at a state level. The Republican control of statehouses supported their gerrymandering efforts, and powerful donors helped them tackle Labor unions in
Wisconsin, Michigan and other Democratic strongholds. When unions list the right to collective bargaining in the Rust Belt, it crippled their ability to represent their members in the political process. The statehouse strategy also allowed the Council of National Policy and its
allies to use state governments as staging grounds for aspirants to national office. One such state was Michigan, the home of Betsy DeVos and her powerful clan and another was Mike Pence’s Indiana. The CNP set its sights on the Republican Party in a decades long crusade to
promote right wing extremists and drive moderates out of office.
America has some very mentally sick people that do not care about Americans. They want to own America, have modern day slaves, that being everyone from middle class down. But we have an advantage, because we know what they are doing and we can fight back. But it’s going to be
a tough battle. But this battle includes all Americans who struggle everyday. What they have managed to do is co-opt people they are against (Trump supporters).

In July 1933, during Hitler’s first summer in power, a young German pastor named Joachim Hossenfelder preached a sermon in the towering Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, Berlin’s most important church. He used the words of Romans 13 to remind worshippers of the importance of
obedience to those in authority. The church was festooned with Nazi banners and Stormtrooper flags, its pews packed with the Nazi Party faithful – including men in the brown shirts of the Sturmabteilung, the Nazis’ paramilitary movement.
This is one of the most explicit examples in which the German Protestant Church invoked Romans 13.
Romans 13 is important because it was used by the Trump administration too.

My thread yesterday about Hitler, his knowing that he would have to be a Christian hypocrite for political advantage, would also need influential Christian leaders to succeed. For Hitler, this was Gerhard Kittel, the German theologian. He proposed extermination of the Jews.
I briefly mentioned Jerry Falwell. Far right conservative activists Ed McAteer and Paul Weyrich we’re regarded as radicals. There group was to change the existing power structure, but they wanted to change what conservative meant. Weyrich was the man with the vision. He was
known as the “evil genius” of the 1980 manifesto “The New Right: We’re Ready to Lead.” They would establish themselves first as the opposition, then the alternative, finally the government. They would weaken existing institutions and eventually destroy them. First they would

“Liberal” “Liberal Hoax.” The conservative buzzword to denounce the left. We don’t mind, we reply with liberal quotes such as JFK. However, why is it a ridiculous thing for conservatives to say? Particularly conservative Christians??? Because the word is Biblical.
The King James Version of 1611 of the Bible contains the word liberal. In the American King James Bible also contained the word liberal. But why was this word so important to Christianity and particularly America? Particularly the King James Bible?
First, the King James Bible was the break from the Catholic Church. For the Puritans, Presbyterians and Methodists who came to America, this was important and important because of the vision for America. There have been comments that “Jesus was a liberal.” But these are not just

On April 12, 1922, Hitler gave a speech to a crowd in Munich proclaiming he was a Christian, “My Christian feeling directs me to my Lord and saviour as a fighter. As a Christian I have the duty for the truth and what is right.” His supporters believed him
They stated, “Hitler said it, I believe it, that settles it.”
Joseph Goebbels knew Hitler to be anti-Christian, in his diary entries, Hitler in reality wanted to destroy the churches. He saw Christianity as a symptom of decay, a strata deposited by the Jewish race.

Riots erupted between anti-Fascists and Blackshirts (British Fascists)

The spread of fascism in the 1920s was significantly aided by the fact that liberals and mainstream conservatives failed to take it seriously. Instead, they accommodated and normalised it.

From the very beginning in America, Christian nationalism was branded extremism. Particularly Massachusetts Puritanism. All churches were branded dens of sin and ungodly if they didn’t belong to Massachusetts Puritanism. The story can be traced back to Boston, England.
A loose-living minister was tired of being hauled before the towns strict Puritan magistrates. This minister believed he could behave how he wanted, and didn’t want to conform to the Churches rules. He believed individual churches should be autonomous and preach whatever they
like. He was asked to questioned by the law of the Church of England. He went into hiding and didn’t attend the hearing. 76 ministers who believed they should teach whatever they wanted left England for New England before 1640. In these churches in New England, the sermons
