Barr functioned as a private attorney for Trump. He used the full weight & resources of DOJ to do it. He misled America about the Mueller report, tried to step in to fight Trump’s personal legal battles, punished Trump’s enemies, and gave special favors to Trump’s friends.
Barr was anything but law and order. He will go down in history as the worse Attorney General. Ever.
Barr’s resignation in disgrace, Jeff Sessions’ embarrassing defeat in AL senate primary, and Michael Cohen’s felony conviction is a gentle reminder that cruelty, denigration, disrespect, flouting the rule of law, and wiping your nose with the Constitution never pays.
disBarred.

My uncle, in his 80s, lived thru Papa Doc & Baby Doc regimes in Haiti; he said during Thanksgiving last year that Trump was a dictator and he was not leaving the White House peacefully.
Some of my cousins argued him down. They could not believe what he was saying.
He said that EVERYTHING Trump was doing reminded him of Papa Doc: favoring his friends & supporters with business & legal protection, punishing his enemies, sowing divisions, taking over the judiciary, enriching himself, installing his family, not providing aid to people, etc.
I wrote on to Law Review at my law school @AUWCL in 1997. I was the only Black person. There hadn’t been one since the mid-80s. No other Black person when I graduated in 1999. If not for my roommate, I wouldn’t have known what it was.
I didn’t know much about law school before I got there. Did not personally know a lawyer at the time. All I knew was what I saw Easy on The Eyes @BlairUnderwood do on the tv show L.A. Law.
