If the strategy is "herd immunity through mass casualties" - - as it was in the UK and Sweden, for a period - - then make it clear that is the strategy.
At least then, the electorate can evaluate the strategy, and there can be consensus (or not).
At worst the strategy can be called "ill-advised," or "stupid."
But if you adopt a "herd immunity" strategy, against the advice of scientists - while LYING ABOUT THE DISEASE AND DOWNPLAYING THE RISKS - that, my friends, is MASS MURDER.
I repeat.
MASS. MURDER.
A reminder of what we were told by the commander in chief. It makes no difference how stupid or incompetent or unbelievable he was. He was still our president when he said this, TRYING TO MAXIMIZE INFECTIONS 👇
Everyone involved in this "strategy" of intentionally sowing disinformation in order to maximize the virus spread should face the *maximum penalty allowed by law.* en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capital_p…
My blood is fucking boiling.
I lost two family members to this disease.
I have friends incapacitated for life.
It didn't have to be this way.
This was INTENTIONAL.
This is so fucked up. I can't think clearly right now. Everyone who knew, and went along, must be charged.
And let's be honest.
I have NO DOUBT - - ZERO! - - that if we investigate we will find Trumps and Kushners and others were inside-trading stocks - - all the while inflicting death and suffering on the American public, for their gotdam PROFIT.
Y'all this is super fucked up
At least @DanPatrick had the balls to admit he wanted to kill grandma for the economy.

@realDonaldTrump@kilmeade@foxandfriends There was a failed businessman
Who sported an orange spray-tan
He could only get votes
From some old guys in boats
And the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan
@realDonaldTrump@kilmeade@foxandfriends As Donny continued his lootin'
There really could be no disputin'
That year after year
It became ever more clear
He was working for Vladimir Putin

@realDonaldTrump@kilmeade@foxandfriends Trump had the brains of a llama
And accomplished nothing but drama
But despite the fake pride
He knew deep inside
He could never live up to Obama
Parler is Bill Mitchell and a handful of other crackpot right wing "thought leaders" chatting with a million Russian bots and that guy that made a meth kitchen in the storage shed behind the New Hope Mission Evangelical Tabernacle.
Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.
Surely some revelation is at hand;
Surely the Second Coming is at hand.
The Second Coming! Hardly are those words out
When a vast image out of Spiritus Mundi
Troubles my sight: somewhere in sands of the desert
A shape with lion body and the head of a man,
A gaze blank and pitiless as the sun,
Is moving its slow thighs, while all about it
The thing is, so many Republicans literally do believe that the concept of democracy is dead. I know a few like this myself. They are completely on board with fascism, though they don't call it by that name.
What were witnessing is the last, dying throes of the old White Guard.
"Make America Great Again" was always code for "let's go back to the old days when a handful of rich white men ran everything and made life easier for the rest of us white men."
All MAGA ever really wanted was a return to white supremacy.
MAGA was a sad but predictable racist backlash against the first Black president. It's no coincidence that Trump, the standard-bearer for Birtherism, became the head of the GOP. These seeds were planted in the Southern Strategy and now they've produced their dark, putrid fruit.
